Subframe conversion bushes, maybe tailshaft change depending if you had ABS tailshaft or not, possibly having to clearance around the knuckle to fit 350Z/GTR driveshafts. It doable but something i was looking to avoid as i have an S13 subframe. I have a CD009 in my S13 drift car with a 4.36 and it's a little silly but sure makes 250kw feel fast haha

R33 GTST front subframe differences?
iruvyouskyrine replied to Neostead2000's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I have one in AUS that i could ship i guess, no idea how to ship something internationally or how much it would cost as i have never done it before. -
As BK said there is much more to it that just the flange. If you have seen any of my other cars the exhaust manifolds are extremely excessive (which i absolutely love) and once again i will be doing something similar on this car. Good luck getting a twin scroll twin gate low mount G40 into an engine bay and working on it at all. Twin scroll v band with merged single gate would be the tits but anyway......
-
Purely simplicity. Have twin scroll twin gate on my other car and it's just so much extra shit. For the gain in response you get i would now happily trade it for something cheaper, easier to put together and easier to work on. Also going in front of DCT 7 speed so easy to keep it in the powerband pretty easily which helps, only have to get it up on boost once and should stay on the boil.

I am going G40-1150 on my RB25/30 Neo. 1000 at the wheels is my goal which is a big ask but see how we get on. ETA in my brain ~6 months ETA in actuality ~2 years EDIT: 1.06 Vband turbine housing

Release Bearing Air Gap - How much?
iruvyouskyrine replied to TurboTapin's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Interested to see how the collins adapter kit goes. Have heard nothing but many bad things from many different people. Do you know if they have changed their kit in recent years? -
GOT SUM's RB34
iruvyouskyrine replied to klutched's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Im talking Sydney based workshop powertune not the garbage ipad strapped to dash powertune thing. I always find the MoTeC stigma very funny, not sure how or why it exists but it's certainly a thing. -

GOT SUM's RB34
iruvyouskyrine replied to klutched's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
What the acutal gosh darn are those prices lol, is race services run by bitcoin wanker sanders? I purchased all of my stuff from norway delievered for about 1/3 of those prices. I am getting more and more exposure to HTG and i was extremely apprehensive at the start but the longer i spend with it the more i like it. They really just needed to hold off release until they had a more mature product but its well on its way there now. -
Hey all, thinking about letting go of my RB20 Neo that i have had tucked away for future projects in the shed for a long time. Removed from R34 with 46xxxkm on it, it is the cleanest used engine i have ever seen. Had not a single bit of rust or corrosion on it and the zinc plating was on every single bolt. Unfortunately 'future projects' look to be infinitely located in the future so i really have no need for it any more. Thought i would let people in here know as this is about the only thread in existance that talks about these things haha. If its not appropriate admin feel free to remove. Located Newcastle NSW happy to post pics if admin approves. Thanks

High RPM RB's - Share Your Story
iruvyouskyrine replied to Chopstick Tuner's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I am doing basically exactly what you said. RB20DE + Big T4 exhaust manifold + EFR6758 external gate + crank trigger and good ECU + E85 + RB26 inlet manifold. It's 90% done although probably wont be finished for another 2 years if i know myself. -
R Chassis brake line fittings
iruvyouskyrine replied to iruvyouskyrine's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Okay thanks, Some aftermarket braided brake lines use a banjo fitting into the caliper and some use a male fitting with inverted female seat, do the calipers have a flat sealing surface for a crush washer to be used with a banjo bolt? -
camshafts - upgrades and options
iruvyouskyrine replied to itsforandres's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Not the guides, seat or valve itself obviously, but everything else is accessible from the top yes. -
Hi all, Considering going to R33 GTS-t brakes on my S13. Does anyone know what the fitting is into the caliper? Is it an M10 male fitting with a female inverted flare? I will be buying braided brake lines to suit however i may upgrade to GTR brembos in the future and would be good if i could keep the same braided lines, are GTR the same fitting as GTS-t? Thanks

Sparkplugs/Coilpacks - 600kw

Could you explain the advantage of the Denso/NGK plugs you listed? Spark power, longevity, or something else my brain can't think of? -

iruvyouskyrine replied to No Crust Racing's topic in Motorsport Builds
So you went with full 350Z brembo kit front and rear? I'm still interested in your whole dash/interior but last we talked you weren't keen to sell, have you changed your mind 😁 -
Rb25 Turbo Upgrade, All Dyno Results
iruvyouskyrine replied to Nacho Vidal's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Do you mean VCT or V-Cam? I don't belive you can have V-Cam with billet cam covers -
Have tomei gears both sides. Stoopid SR garbage have to remove whole rocker cover to adjust them on dyno. I think i have managed to convince myself to go G25
-
Thanks guys, Just went for a drive in a mates S15. Stock engine with a GTX2867 0.72 V band. It was not as bad as i thought it would be but certainly a difference to my 2860. If the G25-550 is the same response then i think i can live with as a daily driver. Although my engine has no VCT, Kelford 264/272 so that will make a difference, but im running a 3.9 diff rather than his 3.7
