  6. GTSboy all you need is a standard RB25 exhaust cam and the metal CAS to suit and they effectively become a normal RB25. Can use normal RB25 loom and ECU on them no worries.

  10. That is the first time i have ever seen exhausts being held in place by ratchet straps ? But good work, be good to do it all yourself. I just picked up a TIG the other day to learn with, any tips for a noob?
  11. Not surprising at all, 30 year old car means 30 year old wiring, and nissans wiring was nothing great to begin with. You are just getting a voltage drop over the fuel pump power feed wire. I will quote myself here because that was and still is the correct thing to do.

  13. Is it 39654+A or 39600DA? This is relevant to my interests as i have a 350Z diff at home and was considering changing to a CD009 gearbox that i also have and R200's are hard to get in good ratios to suit the 6 speed.
  14. If you are just strictly doing drags and not track/drift then you could just use a 1 way diff.
  15. Ohhhh interesting. I have never replaced CV's when they have blown i have only ever thrown the whole driveshaft in the bin. Is it a difficult process to switch it over?
  16. The 350Z has 6x1 stub axles yeah? You would still need GTR 6x1 driveshafts though wouldn't you? Or am i confusing something here?
  17. Surprising that R33 DE/DET have the same casting number, whereas every other one is different (with the exception of RB26)
  18. Hey all, Decided i would knock this up to help people ID what cylinder head they have. The list is mostly complete and i should have it finalized in the next day or two. If people could cross check with what they have on their vehicles that would be awesome. The casting ID is located somewhere around cylinder 1 and is ia 3 number/digit code. Attatched is a pic of an RB20DET so you can see the casting number. Cheers
  19. This and this. You sound very american. Your workshop of choice is shit, find a new one or better yet learn to do everything yourself. If the car was running fine before it went in then it had some compression. Only time i have ever seen zero comp is because of a chipped valve. Find a new workshop and let them take the head off and go from there.
