  1. Any idea if the s2 33 throttle body will fit up to a Neo? I don't particularly like the twin throttle body and assorted cruise control crap.
  2. Hi all, Mi purchased a pull type gearbox with an OS Giken push/pull converter in it. I am now wanting to remove the converter and run a pull type clutch again. The only problem is that it looks like the standard clutch fork was removed to install the converter. My question is what will I need to return my gearbox to standard to run a pull type clutch. I will need a clutch fork and carrier bearing or whatever it is called correct? I also have a complete rb20det gearbox here that I can take parts from if I am able to use the clutch fork and carrier. Thank you for any info you can give me. PS, anyone want a OS Giken push /pull converter

  4. Starting to put this thing back together now and i was trying to decide how to best set up the breathers from the cam covers. I have a normal greddy catch can with 2 fittings on it. Is my best bet just going to be to leave the PCV valve in place, and running the exhaust cam cover to one fitting of the catch can, and then the other out of the catch can into the intake before the turbo? Thanks.
  5. Disconnect the feed line and just keep priming the pump maybe? Not sure if this would work just and idea.
  6. I can guarentee you won't fit your hand in the tank haha. Your best bet is probably going top be take your fuel pump cradle out and stick the hose straight into the tank and suck it all out.
  7. Oh and Stao is finished with my turbo and it should be on it's way back soon ended up going with the latest ATR43SS2 Hi-flow IWG. Should be good for the power im aiming for, can't wait to slap it on! Also have to purchase my injectors and clutch in the coming weeks. Going to get an NPC Carbotic, should definitely last me a while as i will be running far less than what it is rated for.
  8. Hey thanks guys, not too sure on the difference between the type M bar and the normal one, i think it has an extra slot down the bottom on each side, making it look lower? Yeah man i have done everything short of internals to the engine, all gaskets replaced and a lot of new hoses. Decided not to do the headgasket as a lot of people here are running the NEO's (and std 25's for that matter) up to 330kw+ and headgasket is fine. And as far as i know it's not really an item that wears over time, it just goes on you at once. Just purchased the lines, flat bar nuts and bolts for relocating my power steering cooler, now to just run all the lines! Where would the best spot be for me to tee the water temp sensor into, the top radiator hose? I don't really like it there and was wondering where else i would be able to locate it? There is a bung at the bottom of my radiator but that would be giving me a reading of the coldest temp yeah, not really much help is it
  9. Rule of thumb: if its a performance modification, cops will hate it. If its a visual modification, cops will hate it. If you modify your car in almost any way, cops will generally hate it.
  10. Thought I would just continue this thread rather than start another. What's the legalities about charcoal canisters, do you have to run them? Is there any advantage not running them besides less piping and a little extra room in the engine bay? I should be able to remove mine as long as I block the nipple on the intake? Not sure what to do about the kind that runs back under the car, presumably to the fuel tank?

Wrong place to post but anyway,<br /><br />RB20 boxes have the slave mounted horizontally. <br />In RB25 boxes have the shifter mounted on a slanted angle whereas RB20 boxes the shifter is mounted flat. <br />If it tapers down to fairly thin then it's most likely a 20 box as 25 boxes are a bit larger.

  16. Where do people usually mount their gauges on 32's. The dash seems like it would be annoying to mount them on but i want to keep my stereo haha Was looking at a set of Defi 60mm but really have no where to put them.
  17. Everyone is making me happy I chose a Neo for my car over a standard 25 haha.<br /><br />What's the average price (I know it's hard to generalise) for a decently built neo25/30? Ie forged and upgraded valve train etc

  21. Roy what is that thing that is in front of the turbo and under the line from the rocker cover to catch can? Looks like a water bottle? >_> Ahh how did you go on Sunday? I'm mates with the guy who sold you his spot haha, unlucky about his engine bay fire
  22. Old donk out. Prepping new engine to go in, just waiting on a timing belt kit to arrive then get stuck into it! Engine bay looking very bare, and my power steering cooler lurking in the front right of the engine bay. All my wiring ready to be posted off to Simon_S14 ready for him to do the loom splicing (thank fark for that haha) Trying to work out my power steering cooler set up. The red line is pressurized side from pump to rack (and there is a plug in the line, anyone know what that's for?) And yellow is the low pressure line from rack to resivoir. I should be fine to plumb my power steering cooler in where i have drawn it in the diagram yes? It all makes sense in my head, hopefully i have set it out correctly! $2100 worth of car parts, certainly doesn't look like it! Also getting to work on my mates '02 HiLux, it is a bit of a rig!
