  1. But seriously, the stock ones are tried and tested the best things for the job. Many people run them without a problem past 300kw. Installing some after market ones will make your car run worse, and decrease performance. But if you still want to get an aftermarket one, just make sure its not a HKS SSQV, those things sound terrible.
  2. My car makes about the same noises you are describing, also from the front left hand wheel well, if you find out what it is id be keen to know. I had a quick look today and my tie rods look pretty well shagged so I was thinking it could have possibly been them, maybe have a look at yours as well.
  3. I have one that from memory isn't too bad, will have a look tonight for you mate
  4. I'm moving to Wagga Wagga next week, and i was dissapointed to find out the closest track was a few hours drive, so signed!
  5. Mind copying and pasting the post from Skylinesdownunder into here KiwiRS4T? You have to be a member to read the forums, thanks.
  6. Thankyou Lance
  7. Doh! It's oil temperature.
  8. Hi all, just bought a Saas electrical oil guage and I'm trying to figure out where to screw it into. I'm presuming it would screw into the block somewhere, but not exacty sure where. Would I just be better off getting a sandwich plate or is there an easy place to screw it into. Engine is an RB20, thanks

  10. Ahh okay thanks pete, will keep that in mind in future posts. I have driven it around at this height for the last 10 months, and the police have given zero f**ks about it, i have never been pulled over in those 10 months. That said, i do understand the second they do pull me over, i'm pretty well screwed haha. I don't live in Adelaide, so those roads aren't of any concern to me
  11. Hey mate, i have never chosen the model from a list, i have always put in the VIN of the car. It should be stamped on the firewall i the engine bay and it will be BNR32xxxxxx You then type it into the highlited fields as i have done, and your off! You can use yours or the one i have used, it should show all the same stuff
  12. Have to drive it like that at least once Okay, do you adjust it on the camber arm itself or is it somewhere on the hub? Will have a look tomorrow.
  13. Yeah thats what i would like to do, but i have to get some camber arms first, unless there is a way to adjust the stock arms?
  14. Cheers guys, came out allright for my first time i reckon Nah not yet mate, it does scrub a little though, the guard roller couldnt do some parts of the wheel arch so i have to give it the once over with the hammer haha Like right up the very top, or about 5cm up the guard there is a slight bump in the guard skin that come out, can i hammer that flat as well or will it f**k the outside of the guard?
  15. Saw a gunmetal r35 GT-R in Mount Gambier today, plates were "KIYRU" or something similar, looked awesome, even though it looked to be standard.
  16. Well, i got it done. Borrowed a roller from my mate and used it successfully to do the right hand side, but then the fkn thing kept breaking on me. Just keep breaking and stripping the thread on the bolts that came with it, so wend and bought some decent ones instead of the cheap chinese shitty ones that came with it. As it was my first time doing it, it didnt come out amazing but im happy enough, then the heat gun broke and i decided to try and do the left hand side anyway. Bad idea, the paint cracked straight away and looks pretty crappy, but the flare was much better. All in all im prety happy with how its sits just a bit shitty that i cracked the paint, but it was my first time so meh. Will get some better pics up tomorrow! And here is all the cracked paint
  17. What type of indicators are they, clear, clear/orange or full orange, and the black seal thingy around the outside still intact? If so ill have them
  18. Have indicators? Cant see them in pics but cant hurt to ask
  19. Haha, well this got serious. Thankyou SkyHi_33 for bringing some sense into this. I have some photos here of the wheels, I have borrowed a guard roller off my mate, and will have a crack at rolling the guards tomorrow and hopefully they will flare a slight bit as well, if they dont fit then i will get someone else to have a look at it. This is with stock struts and springs in, i will be putting my coilovers back in afterwards, and (hopefully) have it siting fairly low, the guard about 10-20mm above the rim if possible, if not i will have it higher. It's not as bad as a first thought, with a bit of camber and a slight flair with the roller i think i should just be able to squeeze it under there Will report back tomorrow with how the guard roller went Also, that 33 is pretty much perfection! I would LOVE for my guards to look like that, but i just wouldnt have the skill to do it haha, was that achieved using a dolly and hammer set? Thanks all!
  20. If you dont have heaps of spare cash try looking for a second hand R32 GT-R cooler, they came stock with front mounts and most people opt to upgrade them, good luck!
