This. In reality you wouldn't really, but that will probably be the easiest way to get it working.

I also suggest a muffler. Put it right at the end of the exhaust manifold. Garrett/Precision usually sell some pretty good mufflers.

Advice on 25det box in r32 coupe
iruvyouskyrine replied to StressedPoet654's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
gearbox is 2/10 difficult. Go to nissan and ask for a D22 navara speed sender and then switch the gear from your current one to that one. Plenty of info on the net for it all. -
More information. What ECU? What fuel pump? What injecotrs/rails/lines/filter? What were you using to measure fuel pressure and where were you tee'ing it into? And get a new mechanic.

That is f**king shocking. He should stick to billet parts and leave the wiring to the professionals lol

1. get a new tuner 2. never seen fake splitfires 3.get your multimeter out and start continuity and voltage checking. Also inspect loom for damage.

If i was you i would use this Bosch 040 injector and something like the new Walbro 525 with a higher base pressure and you should be good to go.
-
Tier 1 - ID Tier 2 (½ the price) - Bosch Motorsport Tier 3 (aka shit and not worth it, also ¼ the price) - Everything else Genuine Bosch Motorsport '040' injectors with adapters for RB26 manifold would be the go. I'm sure NZEFI sell them as a kit.

I can tell you. Link is superior in every single way. It's like comparing a CRT to a 4K LED TV. Car looks good mate, keep the updates coming. -

Tracing high tension leak/short without dyno
iruvyouskyrine replied to MrStabby's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Buy new coil, HT lead and boots and swap known good item in with each coil sequentially each time you take it for a drive. Somewhere between drive 1 and 6 should have been able to isolate the issue further. Continue troubleshooting as necessary. -
Saw these coil conversions
iruvyouskyrine replied to SeanR32GtSt's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
The point in doing this is for the company to make money, because if they work then yes LS coils do provide a better spark than standard coilpacks. But people making LS coil kits for RB's are either A - relying on skyline owners to usually be tight with their money and are offering an inferior product (to a true smart coil) at a price point more tempting to most people. B - just behind the times if they think that LS coils are the best option out there in 2018 -

I would rather my nan tune a NIStune than use the RS enthalpy 'send and burn' method. -
Precision Billet Turbos
iruvyouskyrine replied to R32GTR/Iceland's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Most people who have done the swap are doing it from old school HKS/Trust T4 manifolds rather than V-Band. And as you would know T4 is a standard size, so wack on a new turbo, new dump pipe and away you go. -

Why not ask the guy who told you it would work then? -
RB26 intake manifold on RB20
iruvyouskyrine replied to Hcr32typem's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
This is exactly what i have. RB20 with twin scroll manifold, twin scroll rear housing, twin wastegates and even some EFR magicness. And RB26 ITB's. I promise you it's not worth the money lol, ask me how i know. -

RB26 intake manifold on RB20
iruvyouskyrine replied to Hcr32typem's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I did it on my car and while i don't regret doing it i would not do it again or recommend it to others. If i had my time over i would have gone plazmaman top half and a DBW throttle 100%. Do not, and i repeat, do not buy the OtakuGarage adapter plate. It looks great but the f**king around required getting it to (barely) fit is nothing short of a nightmare and requires a lot of custom fabricaiton to be done. Who else out there is offering an adapter kit? -
And that was assuming you do labor yourself, which he almost certainly wouldn't be if asking questions like this.
