RB26 accellerator cable length
iruvyouskyrine replied to iruvyouskyrine's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I used S14 cable for my 25/30 in my R32 with greddy plenum. It was way too long. I have an RB20 in my S15 with RB26 ITB setup on it and am chasing a GTR throttle cable to suit. -
RB26 accellerator cable length
iruvyouskyrine replied to iruvyouskyrine's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
For everyone playing at home it's about 425mm from firewall to the end of the cable -
Hi all, Wondering if anyone can possibly meaure the length of their RB26 accellerator cable length. Even just the length from the firewall to the end of the cable would be excellent. Thanks

Yep better off buying a second hand oil pump and using that instead.

10?!? If you are going 10 you may as well just go 16. It's only $10/m more. Should be enough to support 2000hp comfortably.

So much cringe. So so much. Jesus christ. Johnny it's good to see you being realistic with your setup VS your requirements. Why throw thousands of dollars at something when spending 1/3 as much will satisfy your needs. Us gts-t guys realise that we don't need a fuel system to support 800hp. GTR guys and SR20 fags ^^ sure do love burning cash.

11 year thread bump, nice. Visually inspect the loom and look for the worst looking place. If I had to guess I would say where it passes from the cabin through the guard and into the engine bay. Or around the exhaust.

140A alternators kit for rbs
iruvyouskyrine replied to rat32r's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Yeah standard alts are 80A and when running for example walbro 460 (can do 30A per pump) and electric power steering (Astra pump can do 80A) you won't have any power left for engine/lights etc -

I just bought a set of the '040' injectors too disco. What lower adapters did you purchase to use them in the standard inlet manifold? Sorry i can't help with the latency, will ask my tuner and report back. -
Fuel sender unit wiring mod
iruvyouskyrine replied to Whatskid's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Easier to buy a new fuel hat tbh. I will be making my own terminals though like Ben posted above. I don't really trust the standard hat terminals for the (up to) 30A that the fuel pump could draw. -

Rb25 shifter or not.
iruvyouskyrine replied to menphus's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Yes it is an RB20/25/30 shifter. But you are missing the plastic bushing that goes on the end of the shifter. Google will help you find what it looks like. I suggest going on gktech website and buying a brass bushing for it, much better feel than the standard plastic one. -

S13 Sprint/Time Attack Style Build
iruvyouskyrine replied to No Crust Racing's topic in Motorsport Builds
You have no idea how often getting the fuel lines plumbed back to front happens. Has been the cause of 4-5 cars I have seen over time (2 of them being my own after engine swaps haha) -
What do you mean the gear has movement in/out? As in it moves in and out towards the camshaft? And when you tighten the intake cam gear up it moves the camshaft but the outer ring of the cam gear doesn't move? If the cam is moving independent of the outer ring gear take the intake cam gear off and check the 4 bolts on the inside of the cam gear where you would adjust it.

Wanting to buy a pair of adjustable HKS cam gears, Happy to pay shipping. PM me if you have some lying around. Thanks

Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0
iruvyouskyrine replied to Piggaz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
What's the deal with the turbosmart Bov's to suit EFR? What is the difference between the plumb back and the dual port? It looks like the only thing is the dual port has the option to dump to atmosphere?
