  1. Got any pics of it fitted up in the end? Noticed you havent posted an engine bay shot since the update
  2. Has anyone painted/clear coated/poweder coated their RB26 inlet plenum and ITB's? Just wondering what the finish came up like on them and how durable they are. Obviously depends on the paint used but just after some general pics and if you are happy with how it came out. I do like the stock colour it's just that with oily hands they get dirty very quickly and are difficult to keep clean. Thanks
  3. For anyone wondering what work is involved in getting the OtakuGarage ITS adaptor working, it's a lot. Firstly you have to get your RB26 coolant rail modified to clear the thermostat housing outlet. This is a fair bit of work and is certainly a job for a fabricator. When doing this you have to removed enough material for it to clear but also leave enough to not create a bottle neck in the coolant passage. Then you have to find an RB30 thermostat housing as a normal RB20/25/26 one won't work without a large amount of grinding on the acutal ITB's. Then you have to replace the bolts with M8 studs and nuts, and the top stud has to be shorter than the others. Then you have to grind away the lip around the outside of the RB30 theromstat housing, and grind even more away where the bolt for the coolant rail will foul the housing. It is a small mission but doable. You should be able to see most of what i am talking about in these pics.
  4. ASR sumps. Can't remember if 2WD sumps fit on 4WD blocks though
  5. Plugs are different as 89CAL said
  6. Yes plenty of people have done it successfully. I would revert back to standard coilpacks and check all wiring that you touched.
  7. I should note that i never put them back in any of my engines. With RB25's you can't access the front bolt without taking the inlet manifold off which is a shit job which annoys me as i would rather take the inlet manifold off when the head is out of the car.
  8. Yes correct. 2x M6 bolts 1 at front intake side and 2 at rear either side.
  9. i heard a rumor that haltech sell haltech ECU's. Maybe ring them to confirm.
  10. wreckers/ebay/gumtree/facebook marketplace/fakebook pages (drift sales/skyline sales)/SAU for sale section
  11. I really shouldnt help you if you like SR20's but im feeling sorry for you so here you go.
  12. Cutting of studs is commonplace when installing large manifolds. Not saying it should be, but that it is.
  13. Whats the problem? Use the ports you need and blank/loop the un needed one.
  14. Those bolts go at the very back of the head on either side. Do you even RB bro?
  15. A quick google says yes but that's forums. The ARP website isn't very helpful either.
  16. For sale is brand new in box RB26 ARP flywheel bolts. Purchased these but decided to reuse my current ARP fastners. Suit R32/33/34 Happy to post AUS wide for $10. Paid $80 looking for $60 Thanks
  17. The tuner will do the install of the nistune for you. Drive car down to tuner exactly as it is now, when. You get there they will take out the ECU and install the nistune chip, put it back in the car and tune it, then you drive home
  18. What do you mean by sleeve mate? You mean the carrier the bearing sits on?
  19. I recommend Trent at chequered tuning. One of the nicest and most knowledgeable people I have ever met. Drop car off and he will install and tune for around ~1000 bucks
  20. Looks very similar to a cusco/safety21 roll cage. And the cusco cages were painted blue. So i think you are on the money
  21. Nistune would be the cheapest and best solution for you! Should be able to get it installed and tuned for around $1000
