That is very strange that the nipple clean snapped off! Sucks to see you take a hit with the car but saying f**k it and getting back out there is the best attitude to have! Were you happy with your driving?

Chuck them up when you do. I asked otaku garage multiple times would this be a problem and was told no every time. Then ofcourse when I purchased and went to fit it was not even close to fitting. -
As stated chasing an RB20DET engine. Bare engine preferred (no manifolds/turbo etc) located in Newcastle but can travel. Thanks

Did your rb26 coolant rail end up looking like this? -
Hey all, RB20DET looking at around 230ish kw. I have in my posession a normal RB flywheel and an Exedy lightened flywheel. I don't know the weight difference between them but its reasonable. What are the advantages/disadvantages to using one in my car? Seems to be lots of conflicting info on this so hopefully someone can shime in with some real world data. Thanks

Did you change the sump when doing everything? Noticed in the video from bathurst you are getting your oil pressure light come on under braking -
Rb25de neo +t with 20det parts

25DET ECU 25DET injectors Appropriate AFM Make the wiring changes neccissary and away you go. BUT, you would be much better off putting a NIStune in your current RB20DET ECU and getting it tuned. -
Don't have to go into it if you don't want but why do you not want a MLS gasket? And why is it you think you can't get parts from Nissan? They have a warehouse in Sydney and I'm very sure you would be able to get an RB30 gasket from them. Places like repco would also have standard fibrous non-MLS gaskets in stock for RB30

iruvyouskyrine replied to czy18e's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
On RB20/25 the gasket between the two inlet plenum halves is metal but between the plenum and the head is paper iirc -

Honestly not to familiar with how the charcoal cannister works. For what is worth I blocked mine off and had no noticeable difference with anything. -

Concrete floor coating Hey all, Moving into a new place in a week or two and it has an extremely clean concrete garage floor. I have a very good ability to make a huge mess whenever i work on cars and this time around i would like to try and seal the floor so any dropped oils etc dont stain the floor like they have in my current house. Has anyone ever done this before? There seems to be so many products out there so just looking for some first hand experience. Another thing to note is that this house is a rental and i will only be in it for about 18 months before relocating again, so not looking to do the full professional epoxy coating (although that would be the best solution) Thanks
