Award diff and gearbox is an SAU favourite. Personally I have never used them but you always see people taking stuff there from this forum and everyone seems happy. -
Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0

Possibly, I know he did have one for ages after someone committed to buying then pulled out. Keen to see your results, is it going back to Jez? -
Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0

Interesting, Dion couldn't even come close on mine ($700 more than sparesbox). I guess that answers my other question of what you are moving to from the HTA -
Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0

What EFR did you purchase? I have been told the 28th of June is when my 6758 should be here. I know another person who also purchased a 6758 got told the same date as me, as your date is different I guess you were after a different model? Will give them a call today and chase it up. -

Duncan's HGE70W car, RHD Titan
iruvyouskyrine replied to Duncan's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Holy shiet, it really does look just like a normal Navara until that last pic compared to a patrol. It's very deceptive! Any reason for going a big petrol V8 over something like the dodge ram 1500 with 6.7L Cummins turbo diesel? -
Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0
iruvyouskyrine replied to Piggaz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
That one works fine cheers mate! That BOV would be getting very hot without heat shielding I imagine, did he go to a full race metal cover? I hadn't heard any mention of the noise these things made either until Greg mentioned it. Hopefully the 6758 is just as noisy but it has the type a front which isn't anti-surged and only 2.5" inlet. -

Won't load at all, the pic of ECU log works but not the pic of the engine. -

Skyline r33 fuel injectors guidance
iruvyouskyrine replied to Bob Virk's topic in General Maintenance
This is incorrect, as missleman said there it 2 senders. If the sender for the ECU has died it will be reporting full cold temp and as such the ECU will compensate by adding lots of extra fuel as it thinks it is in very cold conditions. The temp sensors are on the inlet manifold near the top radiator hose. The dash one is the single pin and the ECU one is the two pin plug. -
Skyline r33 fuel injectors guidance
iruvyouskyrine replied to Bob Virk's topic in General Maintenance
This is a great list! Before doing anything related to the injectors check all these things above first. Also put in new spark plugs, new fuel filter and new oil. After doing all the things listed above start writing a log and the come back with those results and we can help further. Have fun! -
RB26 package value?

Would be best off parting it out if you have the time for it -

$5-5.5k obviously haha* -
RB26 package value?
iruvyouskyrine replied to NickRB20's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Wrecker prices are always ridiculously overpriced. $5-5.5 would be fair I would say. -
Right your thread says RB30DE so was confused. No way 1000cc injectors and a 3076 will ever make 500kw but will do 350kw no worries

R33 GTR engine overheating issue - low boost
iruvyouskyrine replied to Tomak's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
While I completely agree that an engine fan and shroud is miles better, I though spal fans were supposed to be the tits if you were so inclined to run an electric fan? -
R33 rb30/25 hardline from head to block
iruvyouskyrine replied to thebe's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Is the HX40 ball bearing? Do you have an oil restrictor in the turbo oil feed line? If both answers are yes then just tee it in to the turbo drain line. And the easiest way to take the sump off is to lower the crossmember while keeping the engine in place so you have access to all the bolts. -
You don't need water and oil lines if you are just going RB30DE, the water and oil lines are just for the turbo.

I agree with what birds said. Definitely ring and have a chat and see if you feel comfortable with them, but I'm sure you won't be disappointed by chequered Be sure to let us know how you get on and where you go!

About 2 months too slow Tao, I asked if you were going to continue with testing on RB20 and you said it was too much hassle for little gain with all the problems you were having. Ended up going with an EFR6758. Third pic isn't loading for me either btw

This is awesome. Definately needs more pics and more technical chat on how you went about it all.
