  2. Around the cam lobe where the lobe would otherwise contact the head from it being so big. They use head relief in conjunction with a smaller base circle I believe
  3. I was actually living in Wagga at the time haha. Towed my car 6 hours each way for Trent to tune it. And when there was an issue on the dyno (not there fault, it was the way I assembled the dump pipe [had installed a bolt that was too long and prevented the wastegate flapper from opening past halfway]) they offered to get it fixed and retune it for free.
  4. As I said there was a couple of reasons I couldn't go Gibson style, that was originally what I wanted. But after talks with my fabricator and facing some facts I decided on just going a completely custom manifold. Hopefully i can still get it to sound as close as possible to the Gibson item. After deciding not to go with the Gibson I though I would try the gts-r manifold route. But decided against that in the end too. I have some tasty up close pics of a gts-r manifold though if you want them [emoji14]
  5. Chequred tuning is a forum favourite. Trent and Cat are 2 of the nicest people I know and bent over backwards to help me out. If I ever move back to melbourne this is where I would be going 100%

  12. Turbo purchased and should be here in next 2 weeks. Manifold getting made at the moment really wanted to make an exact copy of the Gibson one but there was a few factors stopping it and I ended up going a different route. Manifold is getting made with a 8374 so if i ever go RB26 it will fit perfectly no dramas. Baby little 6758 should fit easily haha. Cooler piping will be done when turbo turns up.

  14. I really wanted to put a 7163 on my RB20 but the large exhaust mani and RB26 plenum made me go a size smaller to retain as much response as possible. A 7163 would be shitloads of fun on an RB25! Keen to see this 7670 on a 25

  18. There is a dude on here from the US with an unopened RB20 in an FC RX7 who claims to have run a 10 second pass. I believe he posted more info in the drift and drag section. No idea about R32 RB20DET time slips.
  19. Yes I agree about the setup being a pain but if setup correctly it works well. I used a generic ebay puller like the one pictured above and it broke then tried to use a mates and it just couldn't pull the balancer off, felt like it was about to pull the threads out of the balancer.
  20. I have used two types of the one pictured above and both have been shit. Just a medium sized 3 jaw puller works best for me. Have done 15+ engines and it always works first time every time. Just take care when setting it up to have all the arms equal length so it comes off straight
  21. Yep those are all definitely pull type clutch components. What is the part number on the exedy clutch?
