  1. Just a though, will R34 GT-R Getrag clutch suit an R34 GT-T pull type gearbox? Sorry to go a little off topic.
  2. Never used a link before but my advice is that if you really aren't sure about wiring, pay a professional to do it. It might cost but at least it will be done right and you won't have a problem with it in future. Chasing wiring troubles is the worst.
  3. Not looking to sell your coppermix pete?
  4. Do it from under the car in between it and the firewall. Should be shitloads of room
  5. More info please? They have been excellent so far in my experience. Have called them 2 times and were helpful both times, and they are quick to reply to emails. I knew they didn't have stock when I purchased but I am happy to wait when I paid ~$900 less than retail
  6. FYI sparesbox.com.au are having a 20% off storewide sale that ends today, that includes the EFR range. I just picked up a EFR 6758 with G type rear housing ( T4 TS .80 A/R IWG) for $2200
  7. Because it hardly protrudes into the airflow at all and isn't insulated from the plenum at all so just heart soaks as the plenum temp increases. Yes it will rise with IAT but won't be very responsive at all. ECU will use AFM, O2, Knock and coolant temp to calculate fuel injection from memory.
  8. Yeah my bad i was thinking of CRSKmD! Yeah im sure it would be fun but the lag would be horrible for me (coming from a RB25/30 neo with a SS2 .82 rear). I fking love RB20's though and a 260-300kw RB20 is not by any means a slow thing. Sure its no absolute powerhouse but that is heaps of power to go and have fun at a track day/drift day. So i am obviously trying to cook up the best streetable RB20 possible. And drive it i will! This is not going to be a car that lives in the shed, will be driving it daily as much as i can haha. I think i found your mate with the 7163 on the 3sGTE on youtube as well. FWIW i have purchased a Garage7 IPC and will be using that in this build also. Seems like a very cool but of gear but will be interesting to see how it actually works in the real world.
  9. Go forth and restrict with your new found information!
  10. That is not a PDF, that is a post i made in this topic 3 years ago. The restrictors are absolutely not for solid lifters only. In fact if anything were true it would be close to the oppotsite. The hydraulic lifters require more oil that their solid counterparts, hence you can see in the table that the hydraulic head (RB25) requires a larger restrictor than the RB20/26/Neo.
  11. That is probably the nicest elec PS setup i have seen. Yeah MR2 is the other most popular option elec PS wise. Is there more pump under the battery tray? Mounting it on the intake side keeps the lines short and frees up plenty of space on the hot side to fit your favourite flavour of EFR over there.
  12. Do you run an Astra pump bri73y? @Full-Race Geoff is there any difference (besides the obvious) between the 6758 Iron core housing (P/N# 179375) and the aluminium core housing (P/N# 11587105001). My research tells me that the aluminium housing ones were designed for indycar and that there is basically no difference between them and standard EFR's. Just wanted to double check that with you.
  13. For you because some people don't know what searching is. Here is my combined post of all the info in this thread. Can't believe i madde this over 3 years ago now!
  14. Pretty sure CEF33Y is running a TD05-18G from memory. Here is a bit more info and another pic because your image doesn't work on mobile lith. It says it's in a nissan housing but doesn't mention what A/R. Either way its pretty shit and the exact opposite of what i am looking for haha. I agree that a 7163 would crush it and i'm hoping a 6758 would be miles ahead in repsonse and still make roughly the same power. Price wise the best i have found for a 6758 here in Australia is; $1506 for a iron bearing supercore $630 AUD for a G type (T4 TS .80 A/R) turbine housing $16 for turbine locking tabs $78 for wastegate brcaket kit and i already have an EFR compatible single port turbosmart wastegate So roughly $2200 compared to the $2800 that cartel online has them listed for (which is the cheapest in AUS) and the $3000 that GCG has them for. Almost ready to pull the trigger on buying this EFR setup!
  15. PM me mate have a mint set of 4 for sale, excellent condition.
  16. There was a big thing in Facebook about it a couple of months ago. Shell rep saying that there was basically zero chance of them ever selling E85 at servos in Australia despite them being the supplier for V8 supercars
  17. Not needed but it's cheap insurance.
  18. Hey mate have some in mint condition located Newcastle send me a PM
  19. Where did you hear that RB20 isn't an interference engine? Surely it would be the same as all other RB's
  20. Geoff can I purchase EFR rear housings seperately through full race? I see you only list 1 8374 housing but none others.
