  1. Obviously yes? The belt only goes on one way so the tensioner can only apply pressure to the flat side of the belt.
  2. Whatever way makes it provide tension on the belt. I can't remember exactly. You actually don't even need the spring.
  3. I'm selling my car because I am at a point in my life where I need to prioritise money for other things that aren't cars. Your douchbage levels astound me. Menthol were those the timing numbers when aligned with the marks on the RB25 backing plate?
  4. S15 owners always complain that one of their rear wheels pokes out on one side more than the other. I have never heard of it on any R chassis cars through (after playing with them heavily for the last 7 years you would think of hearing about it at least once). Seems weird considering they run (basically) the exact same front and rear subframe setup.
  5. Wow daz still acting like a fking legend putting shit on people yet never actually contributing any good information to the forum. Nice one champion. On my 25/30 Neo I set the cam timing as per RB25 timing cover marks and i am almost certain that cam timing is out. It makes power super early but still doesn't drop off at 7krpm. I have been meaning to get my tuner to play with the cam timing but never got around to it and now I am selling the car. FWIW. maybe some people are happy paying ~$1000 for a tune Daz and getting 90% of the 'factory driveablitly' that you like tugging your dick over without not having their car for 3 days. Please elaborate more on Trent at chequered tuning please. He is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable people I have ever met. If you want to bash him you may as well put it out in the open and tell us what he did to hurt your feelings. OP. Was your timing advanced or retarded? For info my car made 370kw on 20psi (25/30 Neo with standard RB30E bottom end and standard RB25 NEO head with standard cams and external VCT with Hypergear SS2 on E85)
  6. That video seems like a very weird way to do it. It sort of rolls over both sides of the housing and has a very large diameter gate pipe. I would look at doing it directly off the housing like a conventional single scroll system. Turbo will be GTX3067 with a tiny (physicslly) rear housing.
  7. Is it possible to run a single gate off of a twin scroll rear housing? Have seen it done a lot running it off the manifold but never off a twin scroll housing. I am getting a manifold custom made and don't want the wastegate on there for certain reasons. If i can't do it i will probably run a internal gate turbo, but if it is possible then that is the direction i would be looking to go.
  8. RB25 gasket. Standard Nissan. Didn't do anything and it seals fine. 370kw and I give it an extremely hard time no leaks.
  9. Why 2x 4 port valves? Twin gates I guess?
  10. That is an extremely larger manifold spacer.
  11. Where is the fun of not punishing the shit out of a stock RB25? Just get a neo and push it hard, it will love it.
  12. My answer was an actual answer. But I have used 15W-50 in my car for years and it has been fine. 40+ degree drift days at QR and I beat my engine harder than an unwanted red headed stepchild and it has never let me down. No oil cooler either.
  13. It's only an RB26 just use anything 40 or 50 weight and it will be fine.
  14. That is incorrect. E = RB25 R = R chassis
  15. This pleases me. Not the whole exploding thing but the Neo bit. Can't wait.
  16. They look amazing, good luck with sale
  17. My bad I didn't read properly and thought you guys were talking about the one from the throttle body to crossover pipe. In that case I have no idea if R33/34 are the same
