  1. I wouldn't care and would happily run the engine. Deteriorating thermostat seals or people overly happy with liquid sealant would be do more damage than a tiny bit of insulation.
  2. Is that just to lubricate the fuel pumps trent?
  3. Or Nismo AFM's. Surely they would be a bolt in affair.
  4. Jez's is pretty hardcore. Would be terrible for a street car.
  5. Saw your car at Jez's. Looked great and he said you had something big in the works for it, but I guess that's on hold now. Hope it goes well.
  6. Did you try the coilpack and ECU at the same time? If not which one fixed it when you switched it out?
  7. Really I hadn't seen it before haha. Looks even better than I thought it would!
  8. What does it say on the rocket dancer flap? I really want to do this to mine I hadn't seen it done before. Hopefully it doesn't say what I want mine to read haha [emoji26]
  9. Tried 2 known good sets of splitfires, and brand new BCPR7ES starting at .8 and working down to .55 Definitely not an issue with ignition. Started at 14.3V and dropped to 13.8V when miss started.
  10. With 7psi gate spring it make 295kw on 14psi revving to 7krpm. I then put a 14psi spring in and went back for retune and minimum boost we could run was 17psi and it started missfiring, another thing, it seemed to get worse with heat soak, the more runs back to back the earlier it would start doing it.
  11. Jez did question it (running standard cams/springs/etc) but we both felt it was electrical in nature and tried to pursue that. Ran out of time in the end but will go back and try and suss it out. What other ways does valve float manifest itself?
  12. RB20 are all interchangeable. RB25 will go on RB25 and RB20 but not the other way round as the RB25 has VCT.
  13. Yep I got 170psi exactly on all 6 on a genuine low k RB25 neo. 10-15psi variation depending how anal you are. Personally I'd be happy even with 20psi variation and just turn up the boost and put things in place to aid the inevitable blow by issue.
  14. There is a drag racing section. Automotive -> Motorsport -> drift and drag
  15. Well if bet my left nut it's not electrical. Did absolutely everything myself and tuner could think of but still no avail. Thinking it could be a leaky injector seal or something similar. Out of rego at the moment anyway so I haven't touched it yet. Missfire started at 5500rpm and continued from there. Still make 340kw on 17psi with a safe tune to account for missfire only revving to 5500.
  16. Used waterless coolant in circuit/drift application?
  17. Might want to re read the original post mate.
  18. If you don't have a timing light you can always use a torch and a wristwatch.
  19. Really? I would have thought it would
  20. Result was spending 6 hours chasing a missfire that proved fruitless. Cam timing didn't even get touched unfortunately.
  21. Neos don't use coilpack brackets. They bolt straight into the head.
  22. I have always done all mine the other way. Over the crank sprocket first then slide it over the cam gears. The trick is to only put a few mm of the belt on as stated. The less of the belt you put on the easier it is but obviously you want to put enough on so that it isn't going to slide off while trying to put it over the cam gears. It's more about patience and perseverance than anything else
  23. Also. It's ENR34. The B in BNR means RB26 and the E in ENR means RB25.
