  1. yes seen them broken before, i have a spare here if you need send me a PM
  2. willing to post cam timing backing plate?
  3. Huge thread Necro, will be cleaning my throttles and this thread has been a help. Quick question, how do you remove the butterfly shaft? Do I need a press to remove it and the bearings? Unfortunately whoever owned before me put copious amounts of liquid gasket under the end plates to try and seal them. I have scraped it all back but trying to remove the butterfly shaft has been useless, it feels locked in. Don't want to brake it but I think if I can get it lined up in a press it should just press straight out correct? Thanks
  4. I assumed as much but the internet wasn't exactly 100% clear on it. Thanks for the clarificaiton.
  5. Reading about gregs bad luck is the best thing on SAU in a long time. Poor greg.
  6. I am also looking for a T4 1.05 External gate twin scroll housing for EFR7670 if anybody knows of one for sale. Part number is 12701019047 I am unsure if all B2 turbos use the same 'D type' rear housing that i am looking for or if it is specific to only 7670 Thanks
  7. Looks like you ended up going custom addition to stock sump? Got any more info and internal pics? baffled/trapdoor etc?
  8. That is an excellent idea! Simple, effective and cheap. Thanks mate.
  9. Chequered Tuning, i couldn't reccomend Trent enough. Good guy and great at what he does.
  10. Hi all, Converting to single turbo on my RB26 and utilising an existing single turbo manifold from my RB25 that has both RB25 and 26 stud pattern. However, RB20/25/30 is all M10 exhaust manifold studs and RB26 is M8 which leads to lots of slop on the exhaust manifold when fitting to the head. Is it common to change to M10 exhaust studs when going single turbo RB26? Or even use some kind of stepped stud? Or people are happy to have some slop when installing the manifold. Have searched as i thought it may be a common problem however finding no info online about it at all. any help appreciated, thanks.
  11. I hear this may be making its way to Newcastle in the next couple of weeks, is that correct?
  12. I have a brand new never used Link Xtreme ECU with plug and pin kit i am selling, looking for $1750 AUD and i am happy to ship to America
  13. Inbox cleared try again
  14. I have a complete RB20 Neo, absolutely immaculate and only 60xxx Km on it. Honestly i am not looking to sell but if you throw me a stupid high offer i may let it go. PM me if you want.
  15. Sorry if i missed it, what brakes did you have prior to Alcons?
  16. Bosch Motorsport/Injector Dynamics only
  17. Also can i request some pics of your engine bay (specifically the breather setup)
  18. Very good write up, mind showing some logs of the oil/crankcase pressure? And what fuel hat is that?
  19. I 100% agree with you, i think only bad things can happen. Absolutely nuts to be trusting stock CAS at that power level and with a totally standard bottom end. But it's not my car and he can do what he wishes ?
  20. I will be using ARP balancer bolt
  21. Yeah the link DI's cannot support raw TSS data, my guess would be using the road rage converter box. And i can't agree with Lith any more, i wouldn't think twice about buying the NZ kit and putting it on now, it would probably be the best vaule for money mod you could possibly do. Agreed-ish
  22. I emailed JHH but haven't received a reply as to the cost of the JHH trigger kit @burn4005 mind sharing how much it cost? Also platinum are currently testing a crank based 36-2 which i see as the ultimate solution and wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend especially for a stock bottom end warrior at this sort of power level, it's only a 4-5 hours to install at the most. Even the 12 tooth platinum kit would be 999x better than current situation.
  23. This excites me greatly, new platinum 36-2 crank trigger setup. should be an absolutely rock solid setup, i can't wait to get one.
  24. Yeah car will be 90% street at around 300-350kw so a rebuild every 2 years seem excessive. Have you got a link to rebuild instructions?
