  1. Because it really needs more power.
  2. Also, sell T04Z, buy Hypergear turbo or secondhand Garrett/BW/Precision and be much happier.
  3. RB20/25/Neo all use the same exhaust stud pattern and are interchangeable.
  4. How rock solid should the voltage stay at higher RPM?
  5. Got a Neo balancer in Newcastle mate drop me a PM
  6. Okay no I didn't measure that. Every component except the master cylinder is the same. I took the clutch and gearbox off when it was working perfectly, say everything on the shelf, left it for 6 months while I built the engine and then put it all back together and now it doesn't work. I didn't end up changing the bellhousing, just put my mates 33 box and push type clutch in so I can at least drive this thing. Just going to send the clutch and pressure plate back to NPC so they can sort it out.
  7. So you have it inline with the standard brakes? Sounds like normal behaviour for an inline hydro to me. The way to bleed it is as normal, start from the wheel furthest away from the brake master and then do the wheel next closest to it(RL, RR, FL, FR)
  8. Yep is has the bosses on the block so just drill and tap them as you said, piece if piss
  9. Don't know anything about BOV's sorry man as I have never run one. Before this I used a cefiro crossover pipe which had no BOV provision from factory. And I'm not using one now
  10. Thanks guys. Was getting so sick of working on it after all these moths, had really lost motivation to do anything and was hating it. Finally got it mostly sorted and had a quick squirt around the block today. Put a smile on my face for sure! Was nice to have the car in the shed and walk away feeling happy about it Just a quick photo as I put it away.
  11. Correct as more fuel gets injected for the same period the injectors are open.
  12. Yes I did. Both measure between 7.89-7.91 mm Not sure if I would say I am grasping at straws. Is changing the gearbox and leaving the clutch as it is not a somewhat logical step? That way it can be narrowed down to gearbox or clutch.
  13. Arent patrol RB30's carby? That could equate to some of your power loss. RB30S ftl
  14. Yeah everyone thinks the big boy box is bigger, but that's not the case
  15. As title. Looking to take my bellhousing off my R34 gearbox and put it on a 33 box. Both are RB25DET gearbox's. Just wondering the difficulty of this and if there is any parts that would need to be purchased? EG new seals or O-Rings etc Thanks
  16. RB20 box is actually longer than RB25 box, not shorter as everyone says. RB20 790mm long, RB25 is 780mm long.
  17. Fuel gauge on the feed line? Is a gauge on the reg not able to tell you correct fuel pressure?
  18. Per title, is this able to be done? I think the shape of the box is different but I cannot remember. Don't have one lying around to compare to either. Before anyone says it's a bad idea, it will be for testing purposes only to try and diagnose my clutch disengagement issue. Thanks
  19. You wouldn't believe how many times I have seen this after people was their car. But yeah pulling the clips off the coilpacks and injectors progressively is an easy and almost guaranteed way of fault finding the problem. Good luck
  20. Running on 5 cylinders. Did you wash the car recently? Most common issue is water sitting in around the coilpacks, or your coilpacks could be on the way out. Leave the car running rough and disconnect each coil pack one at a time until you hear no difference in sound. That's the dud one.
  21. What was the price for award gearbox and diff to rebuild the box? Are they able to do any worthwhile strength mods to help longevity without absolutely breaking the bank?
