  1. Spoke to Doug at NPC, the maker of my clutch. After I gave him all the information from the testing I have done he said the only thing it could be is a bent clutch plate. Da fark. How did that happen? Anyway. He was kind enough to send me another one free of charge. Put new clutch plate it and no change. Feels exactly the same as before. Can anyone recommend a gearbox place in Newcastle? I would rather slam my dick in a door for the next 48 hours than try and fix this piece of shit.
  2. Anybody use water wetter on here? I only know of two people using it and nothing really changed before/after using it. Just looking to keep my temps stable as the car will be given a hard time over summer. Also what dilution rate are people using?
  3. It also aligns via the cams. So that's 5 holes to align it too. Surely you can figure it out.
  4. How much is too much? It has 3 bolts that locate it so it really shouldn't move that much. Unless someone has increased the size of the locating bolt holes in the backing plate on yours, any amount it moves wouldn't be enough to worry about.
  5. Good seller, seat was as advertised and was great to deal with, thanks mate!
  6. Try something like 10k. That's what people use for RB20 into S13 I believe.
  7. Why not, my mates cousins dogs goldfish ran an eBay turbo and it made 7 million killerwatts, nothing wrong with them.
  8. Unless you have big shiny parts to replace them!
  9. Changing a 25 turbo isn't that hard providing you have a short spanner for the dump nuts/bolts and one for the rear housing nuts. If it's your first time it will be harder though.
  10. The ancillary belts (altenator, a/c, power steering) will have the numbers written on them. Have a look, from memory they are 4PKxxx with xxx being the length of the belt.
  11. Yep, lots of people use the kando housings.
  12. Bores look good? Can I come inspect today? 0437133701
  13. If they can't help you then I don't think anyone can
  14. Sorry I meant grip day in a conventional sense, as in what you used to at Winton etc.
  15. I want to like it. I really do. But I just can't :|
  16. Tried ringing/emailing turbosmart?
  17. There is a few people in Wagga, a dude on here has a green S14 and lives there. I used to live there but I only ever saw 3 or 4 imports in my time there.
  18. Raeligh don't do any grip days, you will understand why if you visit. It's far far too small for it I think, would hardly get out first gear. The track has been vastly upgraded in the last 2 years and is now pretty good condition. I drift there semi regularly and it's great fun, tight and technical also it's very relaxed as long as you are sensible. They are also currently extending the track and making it rallycross, haven't got too much info on that at the moment though.
  19. Fast has worked for me on 50-60 different cars over the years. Has only not worked on 2 cars in 4 years. My own R32 and my best mates S13.
  20. Guard to tire will be the worst offender. What width wheel will you use? I use 9.5 and find a 235/45 is too tall, will be changing to a 225/40 or a 215 if I have to, would like to stick with the 225 though.
  21. Standard knuckles? 9.5+20 is about ideal on an R32. Search wheel offset calculator and plug in your rim width and try and keep your inner clearance about the same. I had issues with my 17x9+30 R33 GTR's hitting on the chassis (as Tim knows ) www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator
  22. Jack car higher + 1/2" drive breaker bar + 6 sided 17mm impact socket = guaranteed to get it off. If you can't get it with that then it deserves to stay there.
