  1. I would definitely be re-bleeding the clutch for sure. Pain in the ass but a requirement in my eyes.
  2. This looks awesome mate can't wait to see final results.
  3. Good read thanks for all that had input. This is making me want to get rid of my ute and get a stag! Realistically i will only be towing once every 2 months at most so fuel consumption shouldn't be too much of a problem. Any before/after of how much better the stag towed when you put the RB30 in duncan? I have a spare 30 bottom end here i could slap in if it makes a significant difference I would keep the standard auto trans with another trans cooler and hopefully that would be more than enough to keep it cool. Anybody else have any input, still umming and aaring as to whether or not i get one, would love to have a practical daily car!
  4. I want these so bad but I have none of the monies Good luck with sale.
  5. Sweet. It's just gets very cold overnight and there is always condensation where I live so I thought I'd give myself the best chance I could.
  6. Anyone towed a car with this yet?
  7. How do people store there ethanol? My nearest servo is 50k's from home so I was thinking of buying some sort of drum (possibly 44gal) and storing it in that. I have heard you have to store it off the ground to keep moisture out. I was just planning on sitting it on some wood or bricks and then just wrapping a thick blanket around it for some peace of mind (not sure if this will even do anything to be honest haha) hopefully it should last me 2-3 months just sitting there as it won't be a daily driver. Anybody got any other tips/tricks?
  8. Yes it can be done. You need an RB26 crank though to bring it up to 2.4L. That is the only way you can make a responsive 400hp RB20 unfortunately for you. Your best bet is to high flow you standard or RB25 turbo and be happy with that as it's about the best you will achieve as a happy medium.
  9. I'm not sure mate. I believe they run on RB20DET's and I know they work with RB25DE's. You talking 32 or 33 gts-t?
  10. Ahh right. I sometimes forgot there are other engines that aren't RB's hahaha.
  11. Yeah it's at least 8kg's. Standard turbos are 7.
  12. Apexi Power FC D-Jetro (MAF) in perfect working order with hand controller. Located Newcastle but willing to ship at buyers expense. $650 FIRM
  13. I have the exact same problem with my box but I run the lightweight. RB25DET Neo box with unknown KM's. I just shift it nice and smooth into 5th
  14. Any reason for dual filters? The proflow ones look decent.
  15. Link to the filter in question Scotty? Cheers
  16. Got a link to the thread mate?
  17. You pretty much answered your own question. You want oil at the correct temperature and pressure as soon as possible. The thermostat provides that. Just because it's hot where you live definitely does not mean you should take it out. Once the engine is up to operating temperature the thermostat won't be doing anything anyway really.
  18. A lot less money in your bank. What will the car be used for and what fuel are you using?

  20. Hi all, Just wondering which wideband oxygen sensor to get. First thing is what are peoples thoughts on running an O2 gauge? I don't particularly want to but I spose it would be good to monitor AFR's. This car will be doing lots of drifting and I was hoping to just run oil temp, pressure and water temp. Will be using an Adaptronic select plug in R34-GTT ECU. Would ideally like to run something from the tech edge catalogue because they are Australian. All I really need is a sensor to feed wideband AFR's to the ECU.
  21. If I was to use an Adaptronic Select plug in ECU will this be compatible with it?
  22. Not to shit in your thread mate but you buy these brand new from 6BOOST for $1250 so you may want to adjust your price. I tried to sell mine (exactly the same as this, brand new unused) and nobody wanted it for $900
  23. Hey mate, a good question I am interested in doing this as well. You may want to start a new topic in the forces induction or general maintenance section though as this is the drivetrain and transmission section, so not really relevant.
  24. As much as I would really love to see it done Simon, it's a dedicated drift car, responses is but a clutch kick away.
