I email'd Kyle (owner of 6BOOST) and sent him some pictures and measurements of the manifold. His response was that all manifolds come off the same jig and mine isnt any different to a standard item. He also said "At a guess id say the hypergear turbine housing is bigger or the offset of the scroll closer to the flange centerline making it bulge out the rocker cover side more and hit. Borrow a proper Garrett turbo off someone and try it. Regards, Kyle"

Anyone care to share pics of their SS2 high mounted on an RB25? Preferably on a 6Boost manifold. Also stao, can you run a rear turbine housing like the one on the T67 (which goes straight to Vband and doesnt have your 5 bolt IWG/EWG adaptor) on the SS2 at all? I test fitted a GT3076 on the 6BOOST manifold and it fitted fine but the SS2 front housing hits the cam covers.

Haven't asked the fat man yet, will swing him a message. Cheers

Congratulations mate I applid you on the level of fault finding that went into this! Good to see people are willing to have a go and get results. Also, that's a very nice looking 33

Also it's not a standard socket, it's a hex bolt socket. Kincrome ones are about $14

Hey Johnny, not to shit i your thread but is the clutch plate for the 5-puk carbotic clutch? You said it has .3mm wear on it, what is the measurement when brand new? I emails NPC but they won't tell me, just said send it to them and they will inform me if it needs a rebuild. f**k that. You must know original size if you know it's worn by that much, care to share the love? Also, FREE BUMP.

Okay, yes that makes a lot more sense. I didn't even think about that, seems pretty obvious now you have pointed it out haha. I was running a power steering cooler in my car also (R33 auto trans cooler) and i could never get the system fully bled properly. Does the cooler have to sit lower than the feed point from the reservoir? And it seemed to be worse when i had it mounted upside down (so the p/s fluid had to flow up into the cooler), i wouldnt have thought it would make that much of a difference being that the system would be pressurized when turning the steering wheel, which is the only time the system is operating.

Is the Power steering really PWM? In my R32 i haven't have power steering since i did and engine swap, and i have been told that it was because i didnt give power to the solenoid inside the steering rack. I have the engine out again and i gave it 12V and i can hear it opening, so i thought it must be working fine. My plan was to just give it 12V when the car starts up but you are suggesting that its PWM?

Also been thinking about it and i'm not so sure i want to go RB25/30 anymore. Was thinking about going Gallo motor instead, the only question is...

First Time Engine Build. Rb25/30 Neo Advice
iruvyouskyrine replied to iruvyouskyrine's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Hi #@R32Abuser thanks for that mate Sorry for this but here come the questions haha What size rear housing is the 3076 running? And i'm guessing it is revving to 7000 RPM? 98 or E85? Certainly a nice looking graph either way, mine should look even better with 9.5 CR and VCT! I'm thinking i should just stop worrying about numbers and enjoy the car when it's done. I'm sure it will fry tyres just fine. -
Hi All, looking for an R32 GTR fuel tank. I believe they are plastic unlike the gts-t tank which is metal of some sort. Newcastle/Sydney preferred but let me know what's out there

http://youtu.be/DNedUZxP8NU?t=3m2s Not only are they printing turbine housings in stainless steel, but they even print the parts inside them so they don't have to be fitted. Is this slightly f**king insane to anyone else? What a world we live in.

After 8 weeks wait my parts finally arrived from 'Murica. Can finally start piecing it all together when I get the head back from the machinists.

I thought as much. Would have been nice to crack 400 but i thought it would run out of puff. Out of your turbos what would you recommend for just being able to crack 400kw? IE what turbo would be maxing out at around 400, as most of the time i would be running much less than that and would like it as responsive as possible.
