This is the most pointless exercise ever, and i love it. I couldn't have even dreamed of anyone trying to measure knock with a jaycar multimeter. Also love your 20/20 hindsight knowledge. Everything anyone posts you 'already knew'. Good luck figuring it out!

Haha we have very similar tastes. I have an RB20 S15 street car and just picked up a basic SR20 drift car same as yours. I bought a G4+ plugin for it and adding Oil pressure/temp, Coolant pressure/temp, Fuel pressure/temp, Manifold air pressure/temp and flex fuel sensor. Can throw up some pics of how i did it all if you want, was a bit of dicking around but well worth it imo.

Turbo Identification GTDW2840
iruvyouskyrine replied to Dylannn's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I have successfully identified it as shit. China/ebay/aliexpress crap. Take it off before it grenades and kills your engine. -
Says sold already, what price did it have on it?

How hard was it to wrap the car? Looks great in pics but hows it look up close?
-
Nice! Does this only work with stepper motors or could also work with LCD displays?

front 1.0mm block rear will solve 80% of the problem, the other 20% is a catch can that relieves crankcase pressure and lets oil return to the sump through the oil drains as the system was designed

I have found genuine nissan T3 gaskets to be excellent quality and only about $30 a go.

Are you semi competent with wiring/using a multimeter? If either of those is no then just take it to an auto elec. Working with poorly installed immobilizers (and they are all always poorly installed) only ends in swearing and wishing you had paid someone to do it.

GTX3076R GEN II VS GTX3576R GEN II on RB26
iruvyouskyrine replied to joe89's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
3076 Maybe in Americaland but not in Australia No, too small. 1.01 required. Also they don't do a T3 twinscroll as far as i am aware. See above Yes a 3576 should be much much better than -5 In my experience is much of a muchness Less likely than the 3576 doing it -
NA engine will never need enough fuel to outflow the standard NA fuel setup.

Get something custom made to suit. It will always have a better fit and finish. -

R34 GTT Clutch Suggesstions
iruvyouskyrine replied to Dyzzii's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Don't bother, just run the pull type clutch. Ring NPC clutches here in Queensland and ask for a Carbotic 6 puck to suit R34 GT-T and you are done. Have had one for 7 years and love it to death. -

Best coil packs for rb20det
iruvyouskyrine replied to kevin.navarro's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Option 1 is the correct thing to do. It is extremely easy to convert to smart coils from RB25 S2. Buy a new coilpack harness to suit RB25 S2 as well. Stock ones are usually junk by this time.
