    Does anyone in Newcastle have either an external gate GT30 turbo or a 6 Boost high mount manifold I could borrow to dummy up on my engine. Or even someone running a 6boost and Gt30 that I could just have a quick look at their car to compare. Can provide alcohol or similar for your trouble Thanks

    Got the head skimmed in preparation for Cometic MLS head gasket, apparently the head was pretty much dead straight, good news! The machinist removed 4-5 thou so not enough to effect compression really. Will be running a standard size (1.3mm) head gasket.

    I was under the impression that the RB25 Neo head flows more CFM than the 26. I'm sure there was something posted in forced induction about it a few months ago. I believe that was when both were heavily ported though, not in standard form.

    I think it was 6 months from first contact to delivery and we were quoted for a complete time from fabrication to delivery of 2.5 weeks. It was enough that I felt bad that you spent so long on the phone you got a bottle of Jack (or Beam I can't ever remember now haha) for your efforts Quality product, absolutely f**king disgraceful customer service.

    I was very happy with my cage except the paint peeled very easily on it. Apart from that (and the ordeal of actually getting the thing) it was pretty good.

    How did you fit an RB25 exhaust manifold to an RB26 head? The exhaust flange pattern is different.

    I have a spare Neo sitting in my shed, and 2 RB30 blocks. I'm going to put one Neo head on an unopened block and see how it goes. I'll also slowly rebuild the other 30 and just wait for the first one to go pop. RB25/30 Neo, Hypergear SS2, External gate, 6Boost, Greddy FFP, X-Spurt 1000cc injectors, Adaptronic, E85. That's the general plan

    Just PM stao. Although I'm not sure if he does Garrett ball bearing CHRA rebuilds. Something to do with Garrett no longer selling some component, I'm not 100% sure.

    Apexi Power FC with hand controller. L-Jetro version so retains AFM I believe. $850 located Newcastle but happy to post anywhere with buyer paying postage.

    That doesn't mean anything, you are still able to position the turbo as you need. Search "turbo clocking"

    Yeah same, in sure they are missing some internal circuitry that control the auto box.
