  1. Should mention i am running Castrol Edge 5W-40 fully synthetic.
  2. Hey all, just installed oil temp/pressure gauges in my car. Running a RB25DET NEO and was just wondering what it should be running at. Oil pressure is about 40psi at idle and a bit over 60 at higher revs from memory, this is when car is warm. Temp is around 85-90 degrees once warm and driving. Had a look in the service manual but couldn't find what they should be sitting at. Any info appreciated, cheers!
  3. This. Use the broomstick to remove the inside of the cat so you can see inside it and check it's clear.
  4. I run a 45deg silicon bend exactly the same as yours, on the track punishing it for 20 mins at a time running 21psi it was fine. Has held up to two of those track days now. But as scotty said, mine sits probably 4-5 inches from exhaust manifold and has zero issues.
  5. It took me maybe a week at most to get used to it. Now i can drive it around no worries at all, people outside couldn't tell the difference between me driving stock and carbotic. Although trying to take off uphill is a different story haha. Agreed. One of the funniest things you can do is let your mate drive and sit back and laugh.
  6. Also using the carbotic. farking love it, feels stock but has no issues taking a very hard time. making 420hp with a 25.
  7. Is this required when putting a 30 in a 32 gts-t or is it a GTR only thing?
  8. GT30XX IWG need to be spaced out 15-16mm from memory. This sits the compressor off the exhaust housing and gives the most amount of room for the actuator.
  9. Also did a compression test after the last 2 drift days. All cylinders between 168-172 psi. Not bad for 150xxx k's
  10. I would like to be able to say the same. But i give mine a fairly hard time. Seen 2 track days and lots of limiter, although mine is set at 7450 from memory not 8000 haha. Even driving it very hard, no blowby AT ALL! or any oil/fluid leaks, just running the standard nissan setup. ie linked rocker covers and then a hose to the intake after the AFM. The thing i am most impressed with is its off boost driveability though, it is insane! Put your foot down in any gear and it just accelerates, even crusing at 100 in 5th, half throttle and it just accelerates to 120 easily all while off boost! I am certainly very impressed with the NEO!
  11. On 98 at the moment but looking to go flex or E85 in the next few months
  12. I think he is joking. Put quotation marks around the middle and you will understand

  15. So, been a while since the last update. Basically i have been doing minor things since getting it back from trent. Stereo, gauges, tidy up wiring etc. Have done 2 drift days and holy shit it is a different car to drive. Second gear is useless and third gear is now where it's at. Still have power steering issues that i am yet to fix. Basically i am stoked with it and just need to drive it more often haha. Will update thread with more info/pics if people are interested.
  16. I used these gktech ones for over a year with no worries. Made of steel so very difficult to round off. And it's not that hard to chuck the key in the glovebox is it
  17. Just use internal hex wheels nuts if you don't want to scratch the rim.
  18. What the f**k are some people thinking. Seriously.
  19. From memory (this may be incorrect) S1 RB25's suffered from valve issues more so than S2 and Neos.
  20. Hey mate, any info on this, ever sort the problem out? I have had another look but still can't figure out whats going on
