    Thanks I got a trans from a r34 going to mv today for a full build. Should hold upto the abuse well I think. At least I can get a better converter this time. Lol

    Entered into performance car mania on the weekend. Had an awesome time with top gear skids for the first 20mins before the auto let go. Time to go shopping at mz transmissions now

    Will be around a 3500 stall. Mz will re work the std converter to what will suit your purpose included in that price

    You supply the box and std converter. They give it back with a manual valve body built servos etc for around $3000

    Just started looking at a r34 auto to get built from mz autos. Should hold the power abut better than the vl box in there now. Re tune booked in from status for this Friday. Should be interesting when done.

    On the tail shaft or drive shaft?

    The 240k had a 2.4 l series motor in it but I think it has a long gear box instead of the stumpy in the r30 from memory etc. very similar car underneath though

    Cooler done. Intake temps only move by a few deg now instead of the 30 deg variance with the old one

    Just use the patrol rb30 sump pickup and engine mounts etc. it will be easier to use a non stagea motor but you can convert it. I have done a few different conversions like this and you will be better off using an aftermarket ecu now as you will be looking for more power very soon after you get it going

    Muffler done. I remover two chambered 3in mufflers and put the Aes 3in in and it's quieter and straight through. Can't say enough good things about this muffler and no drone Cooler to go in on Monday can't wait. My intake temps are 35deg on a 14deg day

    I don't do physics I can just tell you what the gauge tells me. I assume the cooling ability of the quality cooler is far better than the eBay one

    I had a china cooler that averaged 38deg intake temps. Then I got a precision turbo intercooler that averages 8deg intake temps The china cooler would increase by 20deg in a 20 second pull

    Nice choice of fuel system, same as mine. I made a under car surge tank to keep it all nice and neat.

    Been busy lately and ordered a few bits Precision turbo inter cooler Upgraded tailshaft Aes muffler Air temp and transmission temp gauge And a few other bits to stop the trans fro leaking The cooler arrived and looks very nice. I will put up some nice photos later

    Talk to mz autos in sa they will help you. Autos are more expensive to play with but when you drive a good one you won't look back
