    Hi I am looking into converting my R30 Skyline with a Rb25det to auto, I have a Vl turbo auto that has a stage 2 Keas shift kit installed I want to know if the computer for the auto has any function other than overdrive? Thanks Steve

    check the gate is closed as the flap could be causing the rattle if its not seating tight

    It seems like we have a lot of talented people when it comes to fabrication in this section just thought we could get some of the research and development people are doing in one place to share some of the data, Things I'm working on at the moment Tie rod adaptors to run s13 tie rods with the s13 coil over conversion into a R30 Drive shaft/ CV upgrade for a R30 running a R200 long nose What else are others upto?

    The patrol rb30 has a higher comp ratio than r31 or vl motors. You don't need to go down the twin cam road if your not chasing huge power. Second gear skids with 35's on the road is easy for a single cam if you do it right

    I have done the same thing and went with a Rb30et gt3076r, 444cc injectors and a Nistune ecu. alot better than a standard RD28, mine is a GQ so a Rb30 was standard I assume you have a GU so you will need engineers for the motor and you will need to comply with the emissions regulations.

    I used a piece of 6mm flat to cover both holes bolted through one and machined 6mm of the base of the tensioner, has worked for years

    How much you want for the driveshafts? Do you have a set of wheel flanges to suit

    Thats why I went with a Quaife centre, the best money spent on my 30.

    After alot of reading I still have some questions, I have a R30 skyline with a Rb25det making 330kw at the wheels. I would rather a manualised auto for daily and drag use. Whats my options id rather a nissan box, not sure where to start.

    yep. not much hotter than the last time. i will be looking at the long range forecast before i decide to entrée or not

    23rd-24th Feb winton matsuri, 24th March practice day, 25th May practice day, 7 other days at winton and 3 championship weekends to add in for the year

    normally there is a drift event of some sort every month at Winton, there is a new track at Wodonga that should be open to drifting soon as well

    thats unlucky, one of my mates in canberra had a paul newman and a dr30 another still has a dr30 in storage.once a few start getting around it creates more interest in the area.
