  1. 11:30am
  2. Different approaches for different applications, I've experimented with both as I'm sure you have. For those interested in the theory behind it all, the papers in the spring and damper section found here ( http://www.optimumg.com/technical/technical-papers/) goes into a little more depth, but the approach is sound. 1- Determine target undamped freq. 2- Determine spring rate to reach this. 3- Use swaybars to set balance and/or remove remaining [undesirable] roll. -R.
  3. Over the past nine years i've used and recommended (in order of preference, due to consistency and location): 1- Traction 2- Trackside 3- Centreline
  4. Out of curiosity, aside from the voting process, how is succession planning done? i.e.: if the President feels they only have one year left in them, are they proactively switched with the VP if the club agrees?
  5. If I were in NSW, I'd use them.
  6. Compression stroke is a little f**ked in my fronts. Have you put yours on a shock dyno?
  7. Only challenge there is that Gary Cook is based in NSW and I'm down to one car, attempting to minimise down time by using a local engineer.
  8. G'day, As SAU has always had a reasonable Bilstein user population, figured it's worth asking here- Who has had their PSS/PSS10/PSS9 etc. tweaked in Australia? Local options for Victorians are: - Gary Baker of Baker Bros Engineering (well known in rally) - Brett O'Brien of Shockworks (formerly Delphi etc.) - Quadrant (pass, crap attitudes) - Others? Reason for rebuild/revalve: - Spring rates have changed - Over 70k km have passed Feedback is appreciated. Ryan
  9. BMW do the same thing, rip it out.
  10. Manufacturer of shock?
  11. Access to Sandown, Calder, PI? A lot of that can be automated with Xero or similar. (MYOB seem to be in catchup mode!)
  12. I spent the day trying to work out where I'd seen your plate before. /fail First time with the 1er on the track, I now appreciate why everyone says they understeer horribly.
  13. They correctly aligned my car last time I took it in. I have non-standard geometry.
