  1. They both can. Won't work with PFC, only stock ECU(or variants). PFC hand controller does a similar job. I have one too. A touch might be crap to use when mounted behind the wheel due to lack of tacticle feel when flicking through screens?

    Epa Question

Boost controller falls under EPA, remove it.
  3. There are two options, deactivate and delete. Do you remember which one you pressed? Once you re-enable it, go to the privacy page, and make everything "friends only" on the drop down boxes. Also untick "index for search engines" or whatever it is. That will make it pretty well locked down until you have time to sort out how you want it setup.
  4. Reviving an old thread VS making a new one for a reposted topic? Chun Po in Malvern does great duck, tuesday night a thin layer of fat though, tonights had none. Very good amount of meat, nice skin. Singapore noodles are great, prawns seemed nice(better than those damn shrimp you get in glenny!). Good Service. Few reviews on the wall when you walk in the door that would suggest they do better with the critics than Rock Kung. Should be okay for 2-4 people walk in early in the week, book later in the week. 18 Glenferrie Rd Malvern VIC 3144 - (03) 9509 9624 Open Mon-Thu 12pm-3:30pm, 5:30pm-10:30pm; Fri-Sun 12pm-3:30pm, 5:30pm-11pm
  5. Is this piece more of a background opinion piece or is it direct quotes and the like? Might want to give a rough outline of what you want to write(without giving too much away), If you want us to steer you in the right direction/have people approach you. Look at some DECA wrap up threads if you want a bit of a laugh, and to see the kind of things that people get up to. Have you looked into the Motorvate Melbourne event(just passed) and the background to it?
  6. I will second Rekin's(Patrick) suggestions of attending the above events. A Dyno day is a social event as much as it is a mini comp. Go to a DECA(maybe cruise up on the morning with the other cars for the full experience), and Also attend a monthly SAU General Meeting.
  7. Next SAU food meet should be here: http://yourrestaurants.com.au/guide/waffle_on/ "Waffle On"
  8. Horses for courses, have you seen the amount of AFP cars in Toorak going about their business? Every suburb has things it needs dealt with, I'm just glad around here it isn't junkies with their knives
  9. Neither, just gave a hypothetical solution to a real problem. EDIT: typo'd due to tiredness.
  10. Meet in person at a public place in daytime(cafe), don't take your import, ask for ID. The Age did a piece on motorvate melbourne. seen here: http://theage.drive.com.au/all-revved-up-n...00220-omrn.html

They can clutch in too... Harley's sound f**ken sick, and I am pro-loud pipes on bikes, and I think that LAMS bikes should be allowed a loud pipe, who cares if it gives them one HP, if a noob rider is going to do something stupid, Better we are more aware of it, yes we should see them anyway, but better to hear them aswell IMO. Seems to be an increasing trend with new riders popping out from sidestreets not giving way, or sitting in blindspots.
  14. keep stock fuel rail and use nismo injectors. keep stock FPR, FMIC, dumps, airbox. look into nismo AFMS' keep it looking stock. stock injectors/afms should do 280rwkw ish, what are you pushing? Base your mods off of an R33 GTR, and there are plenty of great threads of what to buy/not to buy, and how it can be done and keep it looking near standard. Forced induction is your best bet for non-stagea specific modding.
  15. Pads go here. http://www.racebrakes.com.au/ Drop in to Howard, he will sort you out.
  16. I am aware of that, but Geelong bashing is entertaining.
  17. If the rego was shown, Wouldn't the club secretary be able to check it against the club database?

  19. not whats on TV, just the people, culture and whats in their shops They get the same shit on TV as us. Therefore, this guy deserves a: [insert welcome to last year photo, google let me down]
  20. They stripped the factory UV cut glass that passes compliance? go to a new workshop, and get the tint shop to fix your shit. IIRC, antenna is in one of the wagon area windows, I hope they didnt strip that.
  21. I have heard of them being fixed, just trying to remember who it was. End of the day, electronics/circuit boards are circuit boards. Doesn't matter if its an Autronic or PFC. Cheapest option is new PFC and copy your tune over, and that keeps the hand controller where it is.
  22. Double post, Forums are fail tonight.
  23. dont like that route, sounds like you will be going straight through geelong, see my link above for the ring road bypass...
  24. Welcome and enjoy your car! I don't post as much as I used to but am still around reading, had mine ~2.5yrs now and happy to try and answer any questions.
  25. the bypass will pop you out at a road that goes to anglesea from memory, IMO I would take it. well signed. http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&sou...528374&z=12 it runs from pretty much lara to fyansford(geelong ring road) note the route is an example only to show the ring road, not one I have used.
