  3. Its a double wishbone car, from what I understand there is no point spending 200$ on a triple tube steel Greddy brace when you can get a JJR brace for 99. A cusco BMC stopper is 100ish IIRC. You could look at getting front strut brace made to go from the front upper control arm mount to the firewall on each side. Have thought about this but not measured it up yet, but will be looking into doing this with a fitter and turner mate if I keep my car.
  4. don't get the gktech RB dump/fronts... its a 2.5" dump, 2.5" front inlet to 3" front piping and outlet, the dump itself won't be any good to you once you upgrade the turbo, stick to a bellmouth.
  5. Print your form and have it filled out before you get there. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/20...te-t304507.html Just as easy to fill out online and pay by direct deposit, but attend meetings anyway. http://www.sauvic.com.au/
  6. Of course China grew during the GFC, only way companys could keep going was to send jobs over there more than they already were. China and India will keep growing. Only jobs left in our country will be things that need to be done in the country. Thats the way I think we will see things headed...
  7. Are we allowed to ask who the client is?
  8. more info in this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/La...tml&hl=ft86
  9. Forgot to mention, swaps of cash + a clean, factory standard SR manual S13 silvia(exhaust is allowed if decent quality and standard supplied, must have standard airbox) will be considered.(contemplating a dirt project)
  10. Camtech are no-where near that much Ash. Trent amongst others rate them.
  11. I think a lot of people in this thread need to have a long hard think. Although Sami may not of gone about expressing his opinions in the best way, he makes some very valid points. I think you should all try and think about what kind of situation other people could be in before you try and dob them in for something. You don't know their circumstances. Its easy to judge and say they should and shouldn't do something from behind a screen. But life isn't that simple. What if a young mother has a couple of kids, has to juggle school and part time work, and could only afford 1k for a run around car? Say she had the perfect little family, but the father was killed, not some "baby bonus family". How would she feel if her car was put off the road? How would the kids get to school? How would the shopping get done? How would she get from school-work-school on time? She was already on thin ice... Put yourself in someone elses shoes, also think about the right and wrong ways about going about things. If your issue is with the Police and EPA, take it on at a political level, write letters to the correct people, stage protests, make a point that voters are unhappy. Make noise. In the end the little people will get caught up, but it won't be because they have been dobbed in. My 2 cents.
  12. They will say Ambulance. I will say, I have gotten my partner to the hospital, driving legally, faster than an ambulance has gotten to our house.(Tested both.) Advantage of an Ambulance is you don't wait around at the hospital IIRC, but either way in my partners case she goes straight to ICU, so no waiting. Just keep in mind, even if you can get there around the same time as an Ambulance would get to you, the Paramedics treat you the moment you get there, compared to a potential wait at the hospital. Factor in if its a relative so you are emotional and driving, you won't be 100%, just call 000.
  13. am happy to sell the car with GTR seats and wheels as seen in the photos as my plans have changed. price would be 12,500 ono.(11.5k without) I am happy to negotiate with any serious buyer for a quick and painless sale.
  14. I think he means that he is NOT giving any guarantee that any of you will get the job, but he can make sure your app is read first.
  15. Poles help?
  16. What about a better driver education and training program? We had a bit of an office discussion, and everyone was coming up with reactive suggestions, all I can say is, Better training and education for drivers(more than just a defensive course, integrate it into school.), and maybe look at raising the drinking age. In the herald sun today(trash) they asked people on the street about raising the speed limit, and most older women seemed to say it was a bad idea, I am assuming due to kids dieing in the media- did they not realize that these drivers were far over the speed limit? If drivers are going to have an accident where speed is a factor(not road condition), it doesn't seem like the limit is the issue, as they are happy to exceed it anyway! My thoughts anyway.
  17. Nice. Whats happening with the other two cars?
  18. hehe. I think he knows the GTR will "give up a few inches" due to weight, but has it been compared to another GTR? ( I would still cover the basics, if it has shit pads from a RWC such as bendix advance in it it won't stop for shit for example.)
  19. SAU RDA group buy is cheapest I have found.
  20. What compound are your brake pads? Were they up to temp?(if they needed to be) What tyres are you running? What is your suspension like?
  21. Its like some of the people I work with who want to buy [insert base model of each range of BMW/merc etc]. I rather be walking then seen in a 320, or 118, Paying that money for the brand, when you can pay a little more and get a decent car out of it /rant WTF no backups of a biz? How many hrs does it take to put together a site like the old one?
  22. JustJap has them IIRC. i was thinking about grabbing one, but now i want to see what happens with this toyo FT86 thing. Whats the go with jspec's website? did it really get hacked or did everyone just get over it?
  23. i thought about giving it a shot given its just down the road, but reviews aren't too nice about it ... http://yourrestaurants.com.au/guide/?actio...ng_coffee_house Given Penang Affair cater for food allergies better than most places and the reviews of Penang coffee house, I might give it a miss.
  24. I thought it was pretty reasonable. Depends, If you are used to China Bar, it might be a little different for you
  25. Can I just recommend you guys do a trip to Penang affair for some decent Malaysian? http://www.penangaffair.com.au/ I haven't tried their duck, but everything else is AWESOME.
