  1. no, i more meant, what turbo would you run with an RB24? something rather obviously not standard? Factor in a trip to regency/EPA if you get pulled over(others, not you, I know yours isn;t a streeter anymore). A Stock looking RB26 with engineers cert won't get the same treatment, and if it does, N1's were a factory turbo, use an R34 motor and it would be legal would it not? It would also make the same if not more power than an RB24, and considering it would prob be worth sleeving the block, it won;t be a cheap build. Cliffnotes: Officer sees large turbo(high or lowmount) -> EPA Standard engine bay-> no dramas.
  2. I paid 78$ for a bosch OZA395-E2 oxy sensor, to suit 33GTST, it fitted my 32. check if plug is same for the neo at a local bursons?
  3. SK's part numbers should be fine, Use tein s-tech springs. I am running 24mm swaybars front and rear, feels nicely balanced, order shocks from heasmans sydney and the rest of the stuff locally, get the swaybars from SELBY as that is the company SK used to get them made by.
  4. given the bushes are only good for ~40k km, how long would the rose jointed arms last... not that hard to get the bushes pressed in/out. take the arms out yourself, walk down to corner mechanic, pay ~20bux, take home, reinstall, drive to alignment.
  5. exige S is supercharged, but look at the price
  6. lith, dont need vids of this, just experiences, top gear, flat road, 80km/h, partial throttle accel. to 100km/h, how does the car feel compared to stock? 80km/h 4th gear up hills +100 km/h 5th gear up hills, how does the car feel compared to stock? what I am getting at, is do you miss the "always on boost" nature of the standard turbo for just general partial throttle around town driving? Or does it make boost quickly enough when needed(overtaking, pulling out etc) Pity I don't know anyone with a 3076
  7. What are some examples of things that members can help out with Ash?
  8. Oh, I forgot the lack of ITB's. Factory front facing plenum. both things the 26 has.
  9. drive an 850kg car, with a "decent" SR or FJ, say high 200rwkws, its a shorter wheelbase, look front on at the extra width of a skyline from the roof to the ground- the doors are much thicker than on old cars. In old, light cars, you have a lot more feel through the steering wheel, pedals etc, and you dont have a foot between your shoulder and the outside world, you have an inch, so it seems less disconnected, then factor in weight, wheelbase, power etc, becomes a lot of fun
  10. an RB24 with a GT30 is compared to an RB26 with N1's power wise, and you get both cars pulled over, which ones will have more issues?
  11. The GT30 sized turbo on the side... guess you could use a highflow, but they are compromised at best. Try reading my post next time. I have an Rb20, does the job, but I know when I am flogging a dead horse.... An RB20 is dead money. you hit 300rwkw or so, the head is unhappy, you want 400rwkw, you go to a bigger turbo and make the car a track car an RB26 is a more efficient way of doing it... RB26 also has more off the shelf aftermarket support, you get one with stock bores, more future for rebuilds if required. try finding Rb20 spares new in a few years compared to RB26...
  12. and you need a GT30 size turbo to match... great for a street car if you get pulled over... Then out comes the motor. cost of ownership just went up. A near stock Rb26 engineered will do the same job, legally.
  13. cbf changing = painting etc
  14. They will bolt up but are different. Lengths, valving, spring rates.
  15. They will bolt up but are different. Lengths, valving, spring rates.
  16. meh, my car came with a 32GTR front bar, personally i prefer the look of the standard type M bar, i CBF changing it at this point in time. and no badges FTW, they just get nicked anyway.
  17. harsh but true. the 92/93/94 still has an appeal if in good condition, except for that stupid extra weight....
  18. Everyone wants to build in their own vision of what the car should be, not someone elses opinion of good taste. Lucky in vic you see racepace and it pretty much equals good build, then you just need to change any superficial things you dont like.
  19. Top gear calendar FTW (I would try and help, but I am not the best graphically).
  20. i know. P510 were also our datsun 1600's. I had two. I was just pointing it out for other memebers who might not know the REAL cars, before it all turned to PLASTIC!
  21. Would the EBC still do its job if there isn't enough preload on the wastegate actuator? As not all EBCs are at 0% duty cycle until close to full boost are they? They are ~10% for the ones I Googled, which would suggest this would not cover up for a wastegate with not enough preload. It is possible to bridge the hoses that go to the EBC to rule out the EBC and check the wastegate is it not? Happy for someone with more experience to correct me.
  22. Are you aware of the cut out in the tailgate itself? When the tailgate is up, it is just too the right of the catch, little cutout type thing, made for pulling the tailgate down without damaging the paint. Unless it has more uses than closing the tailgate(your rail) personally I would think about removing it based on looks. But hey, its your car and a personal choice!
  23. those two pix are P510 not KPGC10(last two)
  24. Personally, I would look at getting your rack reco'd. It is a known unit.
  25. What HAVE they DONE?!?!?!
