  1. Was just about to suggest an X5 then read your post. I second this motion.
  2. Looking forward to this.
  3. Yes and yes, out that way. If you could get your mate to PM or email me, wouldn't mind finding out how similar it was, police might take more interest in the details of the alleged if there are multiple police report numbers associated(if the vehicle wasn't stolen!)
  4. SAU- don't go SOR Post from me from 1addicts. Gents, Car was broken into today at Ellis Brook reserve( took the pup for a hike on a day off to keep me sane!). Given that it is a minimum 35min loop, and there is one road in and out I suspect the thief sits in the first car park and waits for a target, they then raid the car while you are up the top. One of them keeps watch whilst you are coming back down (easy vis of both paths), whilst the does the break in and then ducks off if interrupted, or they both take off when complete. We ran most of the loop and popped out down a drop off as my pup was loosing her shit trying to get back(not bad for a puppy!). I thought she just wanted water but she was sussing out what happened. The guy then moved his car and I snapped his reg. he then approached us at which point my dog got aggressive as I had already put her on the scent.(6000years of breeding ftw). All in all, I'm out a few k, and can only warn you guys. Cops won't do a thing even with the information provided. If anyone hears of an iPad 3(bricked or jail broken, ran two diff remote wipes lol), with Ryan. M. C(xxxx, name removed), and the priceless items that were in the vehicle, reward is available. Reg of the thief( or accomplice) <REGO PLATES REMOVED BY MERLI>*, blue getz. -R

  14. awesome. I spent many a holiday down there growing up. then lorne when I got older! Would have loved to live down around Apollo bay, but it doesn't work for my career at this point in time... Hence moved from Toorak to Mount Dandenong(prior to coming here), peace and quiet and still commutable.
  15. otways/GOR dont get decent until apollo bay(well, the anglesea-apollo bay section is nice, and then through to the apostles is awesome), torquay is a hole. Man i miss the place, i'm back in 2 weeks for a week, YAY
  16. oh, you must do phillip island, and the prom, and go to flinders blowhole on the [mornington]peninsula.
  17. you would want to take the bypass from anglesea, otherwise its a traffic jam... unless you surf, then head to bells Also watch out for driving east along the GOR, falling rocks, best to head west along it. The back roads are incredible...
  18. I would go flat out to adelaide etc, have a look around, then go via the appostles, GOR, otways(stay over night in apollo bay and do the otway fly etc), then head down the bellarine peninsula, get the ferry to sorrento, then drive up to mount dandenong(stay a night at Gracehill in olinda, eat dinner at wild oak ) go through the yarra valley(mt donna buang, the road from warburton to noojee,) jump on the monash fwy and take it into the city and do you city trip. THEN, hall arse the whole way home
  19. I'm more than happy to swap cars for the day, i get between 400-700kms to a tank Does this mean I have to wash my car? It will only get dirty, rather wash it on the way home
  20. yes, I'm doing the public a service. Back in your box.
  21. G'day, When I was living in Melbourne I found it to be ahead with cafes that were good at handling my allergies, and here is another giant leap! http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/71/1651685/restaurant/Melbourne/Red-Robyn-Cafe-Camberwell I've tried a large number of these dishes and they are fantastic whether you have allergies or not. before I get flamed-Thought I would chuck a thread up as I remember seeing a few people with allergy issues on here. -Ryan

  23. +1 This thread made me feel better about my slow POS- The reason why i bought it over a GTR is clearly outlined in this thread!
  24. Is your motor dead or still going? If its running- get out there and drive the car, build it once you hit its limits! If the motor is dead, get a cheap short motor, and refer above statement.
