  5. How did Stewys frame crack?
  6. shakiel will do it while you wait, he is a mechanic who does after hours work too...
  7. after cleaning thing at the back of plenum my idle just got smoother, but cold start didnt change, so guessing the valve under the plenum is the issue, flamin mongrel to get too though
  8. i havent driven a proper car in anger in ~18months,(stagea is very diff) and had my 32 a month, and barely driven it... battle? you got torque on your side haha
  9. They seem to be similar rubber or harder than my old RE001's on the stagea, but in a "semi slick" pattern, I have them on my GTST as the option1garage.com.au price was too good to pass up trying them out... yes
  10. I'll have a think(and read), and be in touch. I too would be interested in finding out which way to run.(boots or none) Gary no longer runs group buys, and his opinion/experience still deserves respect, thread is staying pretty clean so far, so lets all keep it this way
  11. Rear R32 Radius rod bush W62546 assuming adjustable...
  12. Wasn't sure if you would know the numbers from when you dealt in their parts, was worth a shot yeah, centreline are good for loosing part of a spring perch(picked up car after fiting new shocks, two weeks later got new tyres and noticed wear and raised it circlips)... that said my manager has gone there for 18years for his race car no dramas, but one of the account managers like TruTrack.
  13. depends on tyre and car, stagea is 40psi summer cold summer, 41winter, i test it hot every now and then too. digital servo gauges are my choice. datto i used to go around 32hot 32 yet to play with new tyres...
  14. mine is 320/280, raising it too 345/335 to avoid bump steer and correct geometry. I know it wont look as "sick", but i rather be driving it, not staring at it. Front toe out and some negative camber will help the understeer, or it did on my datto(and from what i have been told on 32's) going to try this alignment: Front: castor +6deg per side camber -2deg per side toe: 2mm toe out total Rear: camber ~ -1-1.5deg per side toe 1mm toe in total
  15. can never have enough brakes, RB74 are best by far, 175 per end. mine they modified the mounts of another pad to suit for the fronts. Endless or Nismo or any other brand I get from www.rhdjapan.com but the Racebrakes RB74 are better when cold, hot, better feel and cheaper, and are aussie based. www.rhdjpan.com has them too
  16. you can prime the pump a few times before starting to rule out check valve, mine does it, i have done everything except the valve under the plenum... already done the thing at the back, AFM etc idle is perfect, just that cold start issue. done it whole time i have had my car and never failed me, but gonna chase it down before i sell...
  17. external gate? vic legal advice thread. and it can be any station they nominate, so if your attitude sucks, expect a 500km+ drive haha
  18. this was an EOI with the intention of turning it into a cruise up once we know what time most will be ready
  19. if no one missed my speedo hints, is yours accurate? i dont have a stock diff ratio
  20. location? i run RB74 and Endless SSS
  21. I loved my Webers, but would love to try www.efihardware.com stuff, seen it used with great results.
  22. gah i am not gonna rush this and get it done before DECA anymore... in my datto it was all custom arms, spherical joints, billet ends etc and it lived through some brutal shit, i would be more worried about my teins Cazman PM me a price with the higher quality ends too 3142, wait time not an issue, and are all threads equal etc? happy to be guinea pig for testing strength, but at the same time if its going to cause an accident i rather just run the whiteline....
  23. Hey all, Who is heading up friday and staying at the SAU organized place? Looking to follow someone up, I am getting many things fixed on my car, so it will be legal by then, and speedo being fixed is one of those(even if it means the informeter is my digital readout), but I am hopeless with directions, might be heading up after work or looking at asking for the day off, what is everyone else doing? -Ryan
