  1. the engine heats up quicker than the trans due to shit going boom inside it
  2. sure, I spoke to RaceRadiators about a unit for my car, They told me best to stay with OEM, as the tube thru the rad brings it up to operating temp nice and quickly, and the small external trans-cooler is for stopping it for getting too hot.
  3. so you reassemble the car, pay the mechanic, pay two lots of shipping for another one that MIGHT fit better? or you wear it and get shit fabbed to make it fit, then share your experience with people and reccomend a part that will fit first time? i learnt my lesson

  17. how bad is it for the driveline to flatshift without setting it up?
  18. Don't shoot me for this, but go to an SR20DET or an RB25DET... Reasons: FJ's are more expensive for parts these days, harder to find parts etc(i looked at this option when i had my 16, so badly wanted a stroked NA FJ with ITB's) and less off the shelf mods avilable... Rb20's are less common these days, a mate just paid 1.3k for one! they used to be half that(yes i know exchange plays a part, but they were cheaper before the exchange rate was good then bad) SR's have heaps of bits around, as they were used in s13/s14/s15, so JDM and ADM, most mechanics know them etc. Rb25 was used into the 2000's in the R34(in NEO form) so there will be more bits around for years to come. my $00.02
  19. i cant find my print outs havent had an alignment in ages(since i moved) PM dale/stinkyrooster he should know a good wheel alignment place, or just post in WA and find out who SAU-WA use!
  20. www.justjap.com Castor is relevant to tyre wear, it wears the outside of your tyres in a different way to positive camber, look for feathering on the outter tread blocks
  21. got it, thanks for that, i was expecting some new kind of crazy cancer but it was just douche's who don't know how too manage their usage haha, Thanks again!
  22. first off, i paid 350 for the front and rear camber kits and a front castor kit to be installed... then no more than 100 for an alignment secondly, take it somewhere else for a second opinion, i still have minor rear camber, but i was told IRS requires a little bit too function as designed... please fill out your location in your profile so you can be suggested a reliable workshop
  23. nice silver s1 with a nice note and nismo stripes and [MRNISN] plates on toorak road
