I went to the carpark on Friday night and for short time on Saturday night and it was pretty busy. I saw a fair few skylines around. The problem I had was I didn't know out of the skylines there if any of them were you guys. We should maybe post up parts of our number plate or something so it's easy to find people in the carpark.

if you buy the apexi filter from takakaira does it include the adaptor or is it just the filter by itself?

This is a good topic and personally I think it would be good to have a set day etc. that everyone can meet up at least once a month. I have only been to the broadwater and haven't been to any of the others but hopefully I'll get a chance too soon.

the apexi one looks similiar to that k&n one expect it's got red in it. from what i've read and heard the apexi is the way to go. it is meant to have the best performance increase out of all the filters on the market. i will be looking to get and apexi one within the next couple of weeks. does anybody know where you can buy these with the adaptor kits?

After 4 months of having everything that could go wrong, go wrong my car is finally registered and on the road. This is the best feeling i've had all year. After 6 months of not driving I will be making up for it this weekend. I will post pics sometime this week.

yeah i finally got the car....and finally got the compliance plates in the mail yesterday. BUT the car failed a road worthy yesterday my importer put a new battery in my car, but put one that is too high and it wouldn't secure into the car so they wouldn't give me a road worthy. and now he wants me to buy a new battery and give him his battery back :eek: hopefully it will all be fixed up in the next day or to and finally be on the road after 4 months or 16 weeks since I made payment.

are you going to be selling your straight pipe?

From what i've been told the price of compliance will be the main area that will change in the whole import process. I've been told to possible allow for up to $5000 for compliance next year, however this is for a supra tt. Although I don't think there will be much difference between a supra and a skyline.

i'm not sure what clutch...that was going to be my next question. i think i'll leave the install to someone else this time.

Nice pics. Did you put in sound deadning in the doors? If so, have you got any pics of it? I'm going to be installing speakers in my car soon and I'm not sure exactly where to put the sound deadning in the doors. Cheers;)

How hard is it to put a new clutch into a skyline? I'm not real mechanically minded but i'm learning fast. I'm always willing to give something new a go so I don't mind if there's a bit of hard work involved. I think the limiting factor for me will be the tools that are needed to do it.

you said that one of the speaker mounting holes is broken. what will this stop me from doing? is there only a certain way that i would be able to install it?

were they installed in a skyline? if so, did you have custom kick panels made etc. and if you did are you selling them too? thanks
