  1. Thats still one hell of a figure though - 395AWKW subtract 25 = 370 AWKW on roller dyno - Ide be suprised if GTSS (on pump fuel) made that type of power.
  2. The only speed checks we have are speed cameras I might take the front plate off and do a check ! (kidding)
  3. I was cereful on that issue when I changed wheels and tyres, went from 245/40 18s to 265/35/18 which is only 1.53% difference so thats not it
  4. Good one, you will be blown away by the standard turbo power and response. N1s would be a good alternative though. Will be interested to hear how you go. Jeremy p.s. whos complying it
  5. interesting, I spoke to whiteline on friday and they asvised me they are using bilsteins but i think what you get told differs with which person youre talking to
  6. Travel if you have to there are some really good ones out there, I have been ultra lucky (touch wood) and as mesh mesh said be patient
  7. I recently (5K ago) installed a nismo speed cluster on my R34 GTR and it reads 10km higher than actual speed. I never measured the standard one so I dont know how they compare - I was able to tell the error when the car was on the dyno. Has anyone experienced this with Nismo dash on GTR's ?
  8. the whiteline kit uses Bilsteins
  9. Out of interest OzGTR97V have you made any advances on the power/response you got out of your GTRS's since you last posted ?
  10. Nice car, nice power curve ! no internal mods - forged pistons etc ? Which R34 are you going for ?
  11. very difficult to tell without pulling them out, one quick way is to pull the oil cap off the top left rocker cover and look at the profile of the cam but you need to know what your looking for (basically the rounder the cam the wilder but its hard to explain. Also if no head work has bee required to fit the cams they cant be too wild. Jeremy
  12. Something is up with th rear LSD on my R34 (one wheel just lights up on launches had a look at it today on a hoist and looks like the diff has been removed before) and I am thinking of getting a 1.5 mechanical lsd to go in, what I want to know is do I need to replace the front diff or can I leave it Also if anyone has any recomendations as to brands/dealers Iw ould be interested to hear them Cheers jeremy
  13. theyre still not out yet for gtrs
  14. Thanks gary much appreciated - do whiteline do the coilovers in Bilstein ? Do I need to vary shock type if I up the spring rate ? Jeremy
  15. I am condidering some new Bilstein Coilovers, whiteline have set for the R34 GTR with springs but the springs seem too light (200 ish pounds front and back), I have whiteline sway bars installed and am wondering whether I need hard springs like I have been accustomed to in my R33 GTR (Teins with no other handling mods), has anyone installed the Bilstein coilovers ? I also want my car to be lower than stock (hence coilovers) Also what springs would anyone recomend to go with the Bilsteins Jeremy
  16. any decent intercooler upgrade will deacrease lag because it improves air flow (by deacreasing resistance) I like the Trust chillers but there are heaps of other good ones, depends on what car you have ? What mods you have/are going to have and what use you are going to putthe car to.
  17. Fair is fair - I should correct myself .. thats not how the quote read when you posted, I removed the words " come to perth and come for a ride until then shut up" as they were over the top.
  18. The clock doesnt lie Merli, thats not how the quote read. p.s. cowardice is something that can only be gauged in person "the internet empowers imbeciles"
  19. Perhaps it was me that hit the raw nerve, I stand by my comments, come to perth and have a drive mine or any car dynoed at SST's. p.s. the edit was done BEFORE you posted, check the times
  20. Where does it say shut up, maybe you didnt get past pre school and cant read ?
  21. Given that markr34gtr ran 11.9 with approx 305RWKW in his R34 GTR with 2530's NO I dont see why "people" would question the reading. I am certainly not preoccuoied with dyno readings, its about driveability and response for me. NOT everycar that gets on the dyno that I go to turns out freak figures (quiet the opposite in fact), I just happen to have been very lucky with my 2 cars. Ive said it before - come to perth and come for a ride. Looking forward to seeing your cars ressults down the 1/4, if you happen to finish it that is.
  22. Thanks guys will look into getting the standard one working - its attached to the full electronic car read out and would be a pitty to replace
  23. The 34 comes with a lcd screen that has a TV button but seems to be set for japanese tv, has anyone got theirs working in OZ ?
  24. Gary, Are they the limts for each meter ? Jeremy p.s. the KW's are still bigger over here :-)
