End of the day get what your tuner has injector data for. If your tuner is a muppet and doesn't have data (or doesn't know how to look it up) for ID you just did yourself a disservice.

What are the specs on hydraulic oil? It is probably designed for a completely different operating temp range and without all the friction modifiers, I imagine it'd be the wrong visciousity, burn really badly and have too much friction. The guy sounds like an idiot.

I'm in the market for a neo rb25det that is bare, I don't need any accessories but it is looking like I'll have to grab the lot as I haven't seen a single bare one for sale. What is a realistic price to expect to get one for? I saw one go for $1900, but most are asking $2.5-3k, are they dreaming? or is this the average ballpark, it is mainly import wreckers that are asking this much. I was hoping to get one for $1500-2k but it is looking unlikely at this point in time, am I dreaming?

have you checked the coilpacks and spark plug gaps?

plug a consult cable in and check the fault codes for the afm, I'm sure it is that.
