Thats the wierd thing though, i went from 150 kph to 175 kph trap in 1 run, night ended before i could do more. I have also found my short shifter ( dodgy ebay copy ) just does not like going into 3rd quickly, i have since put my stock shifter back in and can change normally now. Nearly all my times were with a slow or missed 2nd to 3rd gear change, every time the trap speed was vastly different. -
Decreasing weight i can do The KU36 will speed me up, my previous tyres were so bald i would barley get traction when i launched. ( way below the indicator ). ( if your talking the 1000 meter, then yes the ku36 prob slower than bald tyres, but i would rather be safe than dead )

Lucky to hit over 200? not really, getting over 200 is quite easy... one of my traps was 176 btw EDIT Also since i was at the drags, i now have KU36 tires, i have replaced all my front bushes and fixed up some rear bushes Replaced what i believe to be a leaking intercooler join, re programmed my boost controller ( more gain, less duty cycle ) Among other things, i believe the car can easily beat my shitty times before

Front will be triple checked before i do the runs. Its a stock Nismo front end, they just dont look to aero friendly.

You are right, i still have rear spoiler, windscreen wipers/mirrors/not very aero font bumper Only have 340 Hp aswell But mabye my speedo will be out around those numbers and it might "look" like im doing 300 :P:P I will still claim it

FYI I am going to racewars (perth) and will be racing. I guess ill be the first Hypergear Turbo to do a 1000 meter sprint? Will be happening this weekend, hope to get as close to 300 as possible :) Will post my results up when im done

Hi Guys Quick Back story, im going to racewars on the 5th, got my car checked 2 days ago and bad news. My rear left bearing is fcked, and my rear tie rod ends are fcked. Posting in the hopes someone out there in WA has any of the above. Being long weekend and only got 1 week to sort, cant order anything in. pleeeassse help Im going to goto wreckers on Sat in the hopes i can find a whole rear hub And prob some performance shops to see if i can find some aftermarket tie rod ends Any suggestions let me know

Just came back from Drags Very very happy I can confirm its driver error that's causing my low times. I think i could get a low 13s ( or a better driver ) Got a 13.822 @ 171.3km/h Around a 4k launch FYI ATR45G2.5 is my turbo @ ~340hp

My boost gauge is in the center of my dash so should be easily done via my gopro on a helmet.

Well i do miss gears, thats the thing, i havnt been able to get a good clean run with proper gear changes...ever.... Next time i go ill see if i can time the boost lag between gears.

Your making me cry, im pretty sure my problem is driver error coupled with the slow spool between gear changes.

I say laggy between gear changes. Im pretty sure if i got a good run i would most likely do around 14.1 Am i changing gears wrong? should i be flat footing the whole way and riding the clutch in gear changes lol???

Woops fixed I did 167 km/h so 103 mph My highest was 105 ( 170 km/h ) but that run i completely f**ked the start lol.
