geez mate you seem to have no luck or you just got an ass of an inspector, i would say the latter would be correct. i got through fine with those shocks. sorry to hear your lucking out at the moment. do you have the compliance paperwork, if the car is in the condition as listed as on the paperwork it should breeze through although it did take roughly a month and a half to get mine done and the guys at vehicle standards began to recognise me on a side note speak to jason at vehicle standards he might be able to point you in the right direction on how to get the car through
