hey just bought a hks turbo timer for my car but i am a little confused on how to wire it because i have extra/different colour wires to what the site says wires from the timers module are- black - earth grey - ???? green - ???? blue - ????? orange- ???? can some one tell me which wires to splice each colour too. thankyou

check all plugs have spark, check injector wires arent loose, check the injector seals arent leaking thats all i can think of. check coil packs . if none of that works than you should take it to someone who can check the live data

what are the numbers on the split controller? i would have thought rwd was either on or off.

i have the auto ecu installed atm but i will send my manual ecu to nistune for the type 2 board install. will this then just swap with auto ecu or will i need more plugs?

cleaned the maf today, idles nice now...altho still hunts after a thrash. im going to reset the ecu on the weekend. i read that cars that have a manual conversion have idle issues... hopefully not mine.\ pay day tmoroow! going to order my exedy flywheel

can i use carby clean on the maf? and does theType 2 NIStune board replaces the board in the stock ecu?

yeah i know all too well about marking tailshafts. my marks rubbed off at work one day and after looking at it for a while igot it back to where i thort it was originally, road tested and no vibrations , lucky.. now ive got a nice white pait marker. how much for a chipt ecu, or aftermaket ecus? car seems to hunt at idle sometimes, im thinking lazy o2 or vacuum leak gonna go with the cusion button cos peak hour traffic is a bitch and planning on doing trak days but not to often. what would happen if i ran those mods on the stock ecu with no tune?

thanks everyone. sorry about posting in the wrong thread i have a stock auto ecu running atm and a stock manual ecu spare. i was gonna swap them over but was told there will be no difference.. i will be installing a new clutch and light weight flywheel then a fmic then i will be looking at getting it tuned and the boost jacked up to 12psi.then shim the rear diff and some 75w-140 to get the box out will i have to drop both tailshafts? what style clutch do you reccomend? cusion button or pucked thanks for all the feedback

3/8 rattles are small, maybe with a uni n extension... if ya still cant i guess its spanners

if that dont work try a 3/8 rattlegun with single hex socket, n ring spanner on the nut
