If its the same one they had there ages ago its a pos! rusting on the outside of the rear wheel arch just for a taste... pretty sure it was the last car i inspected from these guys, i'd had enough and have not wasted another minute with them..

thanks for the info mate, i thought there might be issues, they look very chunky, i like it! im hoping i dont have issues with the 295s.. will post pics in here once they are fitted over the weekend

haha i thought the bonnet was poped in that first pic. highly doubt there is any point in wasting anymore time on the above car..

they look so chunky, would think they would scrub unless you have the inner guards removed or something? mine scubbed on similar spec wheel with 275/35.. ive got 18s going on mine this week but and running 295/30... have heard there should be no scrubbing issues!

yea has been very quite here.. every one is too busy myself included by the sounds of it. on a good note, my new wheels should be arriving tomorrow, going to pick up tyres from sydney this afternoon and all should be on the car by friday. very keen!

Hey mate, I did have issues with scrubbing when I bought these as I was suggested to run 275/35 tyres which I did. Shortly after got rid of them for the 275/30 tyres which dont scrub at all.

At this stage mate, I would have to sell the tyres first or all as a package sorry. Lost out money on these wheels with tyres already and promised myself i would use the tyres up before doing it again ha. Let me know if your interested in the package and we can talk a price, im slightly neg... Cheers

Was thinking of waxing my wheels but was curious how it goes with matte paint. I would be cautious of cutting matte as wouldn't it shine up the dull matte of the paint? Not really sure. Maybe wax only for matte wheels?.. can anyone confirm this?

Yea can use a brush for the inner part of the wheel and just a sponge for the outer face of the rim. Should come up really well, i had trouble with mine for ages but look great after doing the above, and its simple

i find general car wash with water and a sponge works well, then a chamios.

The ne-1 doesnt require a front pipe at all.. its twin pipes all the way back to the muffler. Cant really help with the sounds differences... I have the ne-1 on my car though is all

I am slighlty neg on price but not dropping them too low. these are hard to find in normal black i believe and this size though, they were a special run for OTR in melbourne when i bought them. thats if your not wanting to go with the actual 'Black Edition' with the different stickers etc...

Also i have brand new rays black air valve stems that i was going to put on these wheels, these can be thown in with the right deal if you wanted to stick with the yellow stickers, as the red valves look a little out of place with the yellow stickers....

heres some more pics of the wheels and tyres.. as you can see there is still probably 90% tread left on these.. they are good sticky tyres.. one pic shows the rock chip i mentioned. wheels are less than two year old.. any other questions let me know.

Nah the 60 year old mechanical engineer the guy mentions in the add is jerry, he is the previous owner I delt with. So I have no idea what he ended up selling it for, or who the current owner is. Not out to ruin the guys sale just save fellow members the hassel if that is a deal breaker for them. If anyone is guinely interested in the car I could maybe dig up the old inspection report.

Ha I have inspected this car and driven it. Came extremely close to buying it to. It was owned by jerry on here, and I had an accepted offer on it for a tiny bit more than half the asking price currently! Have no idea what it sold for though. I fell through with the sale because after a pre purchase inspection I found the whole front of the car had been resprayed and looked as though the rad support had possibly been replaced, was also told by educated ppl kms could be double or more (although they were still low). It took alot of convincing to not buy the car though as it was presented beautifully. Not to damage the sale, not sure if the guy is on here, but I dont think its worth 100k considering I have seen mspec nurs asking less!
