I have a r32 with a rb25 in it and all the power steering has been pulled out of it. So I have a Hicas lock bar installed and all the hicas removed. The power steering cooler is completely removed and gone and the two lines that run from near the battery along the engine cross member to the power steering pump have been removed too. So I bought a rb25 pump, I need to get a resevoir and I need some advice on how people think i should set it up and how other people have done it. Should I run a cooler line for it? or is it unecessary now the hicas is gone?

Does anyone know the wiring for a r32 box? The loom connectors have been ripped off mine so i dont know which is the neutral and reverse. and which is neg and pos on each?

My car is currently registered, but the compliance plate has been lost from a re-spray and re-build. now the previous owner is being a C&*T and doesnt want to help me in any way. I dont have any import papers, just the new aussie vin has been stamped on the drivers strut tower. Is there anything you can suggest Chris for me to get a replacement so I can get a roadworthy?

I have these high pressure lines left here on my r32 which is mid way through a conversion. It has a Hicas lock bar installed, so can I just rip these out? its 2 lines that go into this little box thing pictures, then has a third smaller line coming out. And in this pic, is the black hose with the hose clamp the power steering line that needs to be connected to the power steering pump? as the power steering cooler (hose in front of the radiator) has been completely ripped out. and is the hose next to that the hose to my fuel pressure regulator? I cant find any plate or sticker anywhere. But I called QLD transprort and they said its a bit of trouble without the compliance plate. but its actually registered until september, and seeings its been registered before it shouldnt be that much if a hassle you would think. I would have thought you could get a new one made, seeings they should have the compliance number on record from previous registration???

Is it possible too do a vin check without the engine number? Cos i don't have the original engine number as it's half way through a conversion. I know it has been registered before as it just ran out, and it still has the plates on it. Would this help me?

Not that I cab see. It has had the engine bay resprayed though

Being my first import im not sure what im supposed to have, but i dont see any such compliance plate on my car. But i did a bit of reading and read that sometimes with 15+ year old cars they just stamped the numbers onto the strut tower. I took a pic of the number on mine. i just want to make sure so i know i can rego it before i put money and time into it Edit: just read that when the car comes to aus it has the '6U9000' put in front of the original vin. Does this mean it has been complied and I will be fine regoing it? cheers
