  1. What would I look for then? Is there anything on the wiring loom or ecu that would maybe show a difference between a series 1 and 2 besides the igniter? Or maybe take the ecu somewhere to see what power fc would fit it? Or do the series 1 and 2 Ecu's use the same Power fc's?
  2. Oh ok. Well can anyone shed some light on this mystery?
  3. the crank angle sensor has a mitsubish emblem on it too. Is that normal?
  4. Isn't that just for vin numbers? It's a conversion so it won't match anyway
  5. no the igniter doesnt line up to the coil cover
  6. engine number is rb25105495a. any idea?
  7. also i noticed the bolt pattern on the ignitor wouldnt line up to the coil cover
  8. yeh even with my limited knowledge on rb's thats how i knew it wasnt a NEO.
  9. Hi guys, im new to the forum but just recently bought a r32 with a half started rb25det conversion. Anyways i was told it was a r34 neo engine (which i was sure it wasnt). But now I need help identifying what I actually have so i can buy the right coil packs and power fc etc for it. I have tried googling the ecu numbers but nothing comes up. So the ECU number is MEC-R521 A1 1077 and the wiring with is seems to be right for it. I was thinking it was a series 2, but I found a broken igniter that seems to fit the harness in the boot amongst a whole heap of other parts. Heres a link to the car i bought http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=731643&hl= and heres a pic of the engine sitting in the car:
  10. Im interested in both these if you still have them. My number is 0422051559 Cheers
