    Keen to see how this cruise control/map switching stuff turns out. Had a chat to Matt at ECC About it today when I was down there to buy a Cipher cable. I'm definitely up for it, I do enough trips between the Sunshine Coast and Brissy or Brissy to Ipswich for work that factory cruise control would be amazing. Would also investigate getting an economy map

    xj265... I also gained around 20rwkw... there is no comparison to stock... My fuel economy is better, the car is much easier to drive. Sam, how are the new extractors/HFC's? Did you get your Y-pipe replaced?

    I'm with =CPV35=.... I bought one of those grilles off ebay and it was completely the wrong size... I'd be worried these too cheap to be true lip's are the same deal...

    Bought two bottles of castrol edge titanium 5w30... its on special at supercheap for 40 bucks... cheapness ftw!

    I reckon even the 18's aren't optimum for handling... Personally I would go down to 17's if I was going for aftermarket wheels (yes, you need decent offset to clear the brembo brakes)

    Hey guys, Once the wallet recovers from Christmas/Uprev etc I'm looking at getting my awful compliance cats (which are different! and also different lengths... great) and cheap ebay y-pipe replaced with a custom setup. I was looking at 2x 2.5 inch metal cats (remember I have Uprev, so check engine lights aren't an issue), would I be better going for a single 3 inch cat after the two pipes merge? Has anyone gone down this route?

    On the coupe's its easier to find a boot without a spoiler and swap it over. Might be the same for a sedan?

    At the end of the day it's just tires... it's not like you bought something he advised against (like a competitors set of coilovers and asked him to install them)

    I test drove one before I started tweaking the V... Couldn't live with that horrible boxer engine! (I owned an AE111 Levin coupe before the V... so I'm not against small rev-happy 4 cylinders). And I really disliked the fake induction noise set up... My first VQ powered car was stock with a pod filter, and it was so loud I got pulled over and threatened with a defect for my 'loud exhaust' (exhaust was stock)...

    Yep! Feeling sick as a dog so I haven't had a chance to really give it a proper boot full, but it feels like a cable throttle

    I'm stoked! This is with the cheap and nasty compliance air filter and cats (that are mismatched). Mods to come: replace awful y-pipe/cats, new air filter. Current mods: Motodyne 5/16 spacer, Rev up air box, stillen z-tube, JIC Magic Spartan DE Catback, chinese y-pipe
