CAR 89 GTR Clutch Twin plate organic (I think) Bought a 89 GTR last year .Before the car arrived was told there might be a clutch slipping problem when cold. Got the car had it a year no problems. Put a set of nice dumps on it last week made spool up quicker.Drove it on the week end and in 4th when it comes boost clutch starts to slip, only did it once and could not make it do it again.This morning drove it again now doing it in 2nd and 3rd as well.Kept driving the car for a while and the sliping went away. No signes at all of slipping not even with a hard luanch. Whats going on? Is the clutch stuffed? Could the clutch not be releasing properly? Is it some kind of clutch that needs heat to bite? Can you get organic twin plates re lined? If so who and how much?Any help please? dont have 2 to 3k to throw at a clutch right now. Thanks.
