  7. $8500 1996 Silver Nissan R33 GTS-T Skyline Series 2 M-Spec low 148,XXXkm RB25DET 6cyl Turbo - 5sp Manual ACT rego til April 2012 Always serviced with fully synthetic oils every 5000km. I'm the second owner is Australia as far as I'm aware. Features: - Mspec series 2 factory body kit - Series 2 spoiler - Updated series 2 interior, airbags, new trim, etc. - Active LSD (upspec 33GTR diff) Immaculate condition car with the exception of two problems: -The ORIGINAL plastic front bumper which requires minor repair and respray, i've been quoted around 350-400. I can have this done at the expense of the buyer but it hasn't bothered me yet. A second hand original front bar can be bought for a similar price -The handbrake cable is loose, the handbrake leather boot is also slightly torn but these are less than $20 to replace. I should have this fixed within a couple of weeks seeing as the the car isn't sold prior to that No body or paint damage otherwise. Car looks like a mirror when it's clean. Very clean interior A/C is ice cold Modifications: - 17" light-weight wheels - Lowered on king springs - 3.5" Turbo-back exhaust - Pod filter intake - Turbosmart boost T (runs at 8psi) - Blow off valve, fully adjustable between atmospheric and plumb back (loud or quiet) - Front mount intercooler, professionally done - Aftermarket sound system, splits in front - 255 LPH Walbro fuel pump at 140,000km - Bosch platinum spark plugs at 142,000km - Headlight eyelids I purchased this car at about 135,000km about 6 months ago and its been great. I chose this particular car as it had relatively low km, was from a mature driver from the country (no salt from ocean and lots of highway driving!!!), excellent mechanically and cosmetically as well as being a very powerful car. I took it for RWC then (6mths) and it passed straight away, kept certificate to prove. So I'm guessing it would only need a couple of tires now to pass. Comes with custom ACT black plastic plates. Test drives are welcome Car won't disappoint!
  8. Swapped the coil pack loom today with a $50 one from JapSpec, problem seems to be fixed! Thanks heaps for helping everyone
  9. 100% sure the spark plug isn't fouled now. By fairly sure I meant it was still blowing the same coil pack when the old plugs were in.
  10. Yeah I'm fairly sure it isn't the spark plug that's causing the coil packs to fail. I'll take your advice and go buy a loom tomorrow and see if that will work (found a local one). Can't be a bad coil pack problem as they do work fine when I try them in all the other cylinders. Thanks
  11. The silicone around the coilpacks doesn't explain why they work for 5 mins then fail. I have been thinking of buying splitfires but I have a strong feeling that it might do the same thing. I'll try this Is it really worth spending $100 on something that might not even be the problem?
  12. It's a 2 month old platinum plug. The coil packs have already been sealed with that high-temp silicone stuff.
  13. I've cleaned up the area around the coil pack/spark plug as much as I can. There's no sparks as far as I can see but then again I'm not sure where exactly I'm supposed to be looking. Problem still persists not sure what else it could be? I'll give anyone $60 if they can help me fix the problem? not much but I'm a poor student. Can bring my car to you. Where else would be ideal to take the car to that won't break my bank?
  14. What do you mean by oil? Coilpack insulator is fine, no loose conductive objects anywhere. I have removed the spark valley cover but I doubt that has anything to do with the problem. What do you see if the coilpack is earthing out? Thanks heaps
  15. Hey everyone! My R33 GTS-T S2 has been having a coil pack problem lately For some reason it keeps blowing one coil pack, which is coil pack number 4 - the one that sits directly under the crossover pipe. I have spare original coil packs and when I replace it drives perfect for about 10 minutes then it starts to misfire again!?!? Does anyone here know what could be causing this? Would really appreciate any sort of help
  16. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Fairly stock, but it has a BOV and exhaust
  17. Lately my R33 GTST S2 has been running really rough, the car 'vibrates' while idling and under throttle the shake gets worse, as if the car is missing. Also if I give the car a small rev at idle, the idle screws up and fluctuates better 100-800rpm. I can correct this by free revving the car to about 3k RPM??? Since I bought the car 3 months ago it seems as it has lost a fair bit of power throughout the rev range due to these problems. The story behind it: I installed a powerFC in the car which had a tune for another car, I ran this for about a week then took it out because the car was running too rough (the car was running very smooth with the stock ECU). This is where the problems started! After putting the stock ECU back in I found that these problems continued, and the car is still running rough. So far to try and fix the problem (thinking it was a simple misfire problem) I've replaced the spark plugs with platinum and reset the ECU, but no luck Some info on the car: RB25DET 140,000km New platinum plugs New Walbro 255lph fuel pump FMIC 9psi boost Pod filter 3" turbo back exhaust Would really appreciate any sort of help! Thanks
  18. Long shot but I will also trade this for a set of new spark plugs to suit an R33 GTS-T 96'

  20. How much should I expect to pay for ESP/Trojan to do it? I was hoping to not have to tune it until I get a few more mods done to save on costs. Is there any backyard tuners in Canberra that can set me up with a basic tune? (just need it running smoothly for now)
  21. I've bought a second hand PowerFC for my R33 GTST off another member. He was running all similar mods to my car, as well as his car also being the same year model series 2. Mods include: Intake FMIC 3" Turbo-back exhaust Boost set at 12psi I installed the PFC 2 days ago, let it run for 30 min to adjust idle, etc. Problem I'm having now is that the car shakes aggressively under throttle. So what exactly could the problem be? Is there a known fix for this? The last owner said I may need a touch-up tune, is there anyone in Canberra that can help me out with that for cash? Thanks.

  23. Are those gauges for sale? What are they and how much would you want for them?
