2002 Stagea NM35 AR-X 2002 Nissan Stagea AR-X for sale with 157 000k's. Quick sale, cheapest in AUS - $5800 Drives extremely well and is in great condition (not dings or dents). I'm sure most of you would know its features but here's a couple to name but a few: - Heated electric front seats - Snow Pack (quick heating, heated glass, snow mode) - Rear parking sensors - Ipod connectivity - Fold in and tilt-down rear view mirrors (can't live without these now) Mods: - Scotty's dump pipe - R34 GTT front calipers with QFM pads and slotted rottors - Superpro Poly bushes Imported through IronChef Imports with 77,000 legitimate k's Scotty has serviced it for the past 4 years but it's now back in in Hobart, Tasmania. Negatives: 2 marks in the interior Radio struggles - works sometimes and sometime it doesn't but you've got the ipod connectivity anyway Front tyres are in great condition but rears may need replacing in the next 12 months Call Dion on 0400 720045

What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
Drogba replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
oh FFS, i'd finally settled on an MCA suspension because I couldn't replicate stock height with the BC's and then you all go and confuse the issue with your 'opinions' and stuff. WTF is this, a forum? So in summary, going stock and replacing my shocks with OEM shocks will cost like 1200 (front and back) so they're out, BC's are out because they're too low at the back, MCA's are out because they're potentially unsafe and I need to have the car registered in VIC so it's going through the pits. there's gotta be an easier way... -
Was told this morning that BC are a no go when trying to retain ride height on the AR-X. Looks like it's the MCA's then.
-
That's the thing - im doing absolutely nothing. I drive around like a grandpa 95% of the time. Pretty sure I relayed this to sales rep but he was pretty firm I should go the next step from Blues & it didn't seem like he was trying up-sell but was genuinely advising the best option. Can't justify 2k though. I had only heard positives regarding Bcs though.
-
The sales rep spoke of those but strongly suggested going one step further to the XC spec making me think that Blue's were simply in there to cover market share. 1500 isn't so bad, I assume they'd still be better than stock ARX suspension. Anyone with the Blue's fitted? I'll follow up with BC tomorrow and see what they can do; if not, i'll go with MCA I reckon.
-
Just called MCA and I'm looking at 2k for a decent set which defeats the purpose but thanks, it was worth checking.
-
I thought they weren't THAT adjustable that you could retain std ride height. Anyway have called them and they're getting back to me with what the least height drop will be.
-
Yo "wagoneers', my shocks have gone on my ARX. To replace all 4 OEM shocks through Amayama is going to be around 1300 delivered. What alternative do I have? I don't want to lose much height so I think the BC coilovers are out. Happy to lose max 20mill. Any ideas on other alternatives? Anyone know of anyone who's wanting to get rid of their stock suspension? (obviously it'd have to be in tip top nic) Cheers in advance

Nearly did, had a difference of the opinion of what offers OVER 150 meant. Have decided to keep them, i'm ripping myself well off by selling them for anything less than $300. Apologies, need to update/pull the ad.

BUMP! - Looking for offers over $150 Completely forgot about these (just got married, changed jobs, moved & went on a holiday) until my previous employer called me this week to ask why I still had them stored in their warehouse. Living in an apartment, I don't have anywhere to store them ergo this will be a massive bargain for someone. Looking for offers over $150. I don't have the offset and I don't have the make off the tyres (the new fronts were 175 ea). At around 150 or over that detail becomes irrelevant. I got 2 weeks to sell them

Buying Front Calipers From Wreckers

Okay well that's some comfort - most likely outcome is that they're good to go or just need to be reconditioned. Cheers! -
Buying Front Calipers From Wreckers
Drogba replied to Drogba's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Thanks Dale, Live in Melbourne & them Syd. They would send them down here yeah. It's a bit of a risk if they're buggered - not sure how buggered calipers can become though. Yeh, could do COD maybe? -
Afternoon, I'm buying R34 GTT front calipers sight unseen from Jap Sports Spares in Smithfield. Has anyone had any experience with these guys? I'm not a SAU regular but I believe one can't slander an organisation. Can someone PM if they've dealt with them? OR give them some love on this thread if they've had positive experiences. Or if you've got R34 GTT F calipers FS. sell them to me for $250. Thanking you in advance
