  3. Encouraging news. Replaced the cat with a 100cell 5inch body metal cat (forget the brand,venom?) Plazmaman FMIC with a turbosmart fully recirc BOV 3 inch metal intake (thanks to Scotty) I put a nistune map on that Stao gave me and it's boost waaaaay earlier, only put the map on for a trial. It coughs its guts up any higher than 3000rpm but i did see 10psi at quarter to half throttle by then. I've put the Hyperdrive map back on until i get it to the dyno again. Next problem is, do i take it back to Hyperdrive or Pzp? or even post it off to Toshi? Wish i could take it over East, sounds like theres some great tuners over there. Anyone know of anyone else in Perth that tunes r33 with z32 ecu? Cheers
  4. Just installed that kit, used a turbosmart 32mm recirc bov, it has a 38mm adapter. Plazmaman need to know this.

  6. At the end of the day, i'm not unhappy with the tuner. I arrived thinking everything was ok because i hadn't boosted it. I tried as best as i could to make sure it was all ok. But i arrived with maybe a few inferior or defective parts and he did what he could. I'll do what i can and get it retuned and cross my fingers i guess.
  7. Damn are you serious?? When i was initially shopping around for Tuners about 4 months ago, i checked posts on here and emailed a few. I'm positive Allstar said no because of the r32 ecu. I told him i had z32 ecu and he went on a rant about how they're a pain. I've deleted the email, so can't check if it was them or not. Although i did contact quite a few. Thanks for letting me know, i didn't want to start a new thread about "who tunes Nistune in Perth" because we already have one.
  8. Yep agreed, i'm going down the list seeing what i can do. There only seems to be 2 tuners in Perth that will touch Nistune (Allstar isn't one of them), i'll go through the troubleshooting first, see if that uncovers anything. Then go from there.
  9. I have to try the cat after the egt light came on. Not sure on the wastegate, it's a 14psi one with the extended arm mod on the flapper thingy, but not sure how to test. Stao did pre-load it for me and i haven't touched it. Wouldn't i hear an exhaust manifold leak though? We did check for intake leaks, i was paranoid about it so i double clamped everywhere. Doesn't mean it's not leaking but...... I haven't thought about low compression but it won't be hard to check. Thanks for the input
  10. Nah, i was just covering up the number plate really. It was Hyperdrive. As far as i can tell, researching from old posts. There's only 2 tuners in Perth who will touch Nistune. He was really good, answered a lot of questions etc. Really busy though. It's the first time iv'e been to a dyno tune, i shat my pants. I never rev it that high lol. As for the promise...... my next wife will be a skyline fan too.

  12. No way am i disrespecting the turbo, i'm just after peoples opinions as to what could be the problem. I will try a new fmic setup and a 3 inch all the way intake though, the apexi one is 4 inch - 2.5 inch.I'm starting to lean towards the cat at the moment tho. As far as the Nistune, it's out of a zx and vct is fine, timing was also checked at the tuners. I'll keep scratching my head, i guess i was hoping for someone to say "that's what's wrong you f***ing idiot"
  13. Brand spanking new Apexi n1 pro installed on saturday. Could be, could be Although last week the egt light came on for 2 minutes, then went away. But i checked out the cat when i put the exhaust on and it looked ok (3 months old)

China fmic --- problem? 044 fuel pump 660cc high flow injectors Superspark coils with copper plugs @.8 Nistune ecu Eboost street SS1pu 277.0hp @17psi There isn't any boost leaks, we checked while there. I also double clamped all the pipes to make doubly sure. I did check at the time whether i pulled all the rags out as well. It's got me stumped, any ideas??

  18. A consult cable (any) will do. If you were in WA i'd hook you up, maybe ask around any forum members from your area??

Have a look on the Nistune website, they have a compatible ecu list eg: numbers etc. Its in the support/download section from memory, but if it already has a nistune board fitted then all you will need is a base map to get you to the tuners. This is also in the support/download section. If you dont own the software,then there is a trial version that will last an hour or something, enough time to get you sorted for the base. Read up a bit on it first though because you might not be able to adjust everything you need if you go in blind.
  20. Sounds like it happens more when it gets up to operating temperature???? Can you borrow an ecu off someone?
  21. Hey mate, mine has 21U00 stamped on it near the handle with a Nissan insignia. R33 s1.
  22. I could do with some pics, i think my motor has gone. It grinds when i turn the ignition on, might just take the bulb out
