Hi Guys, I have to change the rego on my R33 from NSW to WA and was wondering what level of checks are performed and whether I need to worry about mods etc... Anyone done this or know a shop that can do it who know imports/skylines? Cheers Andrew

sweet! Yeah the roads are much better here. I drive the R33 to work everyday now, something I definetly couldn't do in Sydney for the price of parking! Looking forward to coming out to the drags soon.

Hi Guys, I have been on SAU for a while and have recently moved from Sydney to Perth. Just posting to say hi and to work out what the scene is like over here. I used to go up to WSID for some runs and was wondering if any of you guys do some runs on Wednesday nights here? Also I'm keen on track days. What sort of track events are organised here? Have u had a look at Turbosmart? I have the E-Boost installed which also acts as a Boost Guage. You can have three boost settings and it is very compact and easy to set up. I had mine tuned within 5 minutes driving on the street, by just following the instructions. E-Boost can also be cheaper than some of the jap brands.

If you can't afford a powerfc and don't wish to heavily modify your R33 then look at some of the interceptor style computers, such as safc, unichip or greddy e-manage. I have a unichip and it runs great! removes the fuel cut and the speed limiter and offers decent flexibility in tuning.

If you have retained the stock ecu that has been replaced by the powerfc then try installing the stocker and seeing if everything comes back online. If it was ignition then surely the powerfc would be operational. Otherwise check the alternator isn't buggered. Any other suggestions guys?

They PC release rights for Juiced aren't owned by Acclaim and will be coming out when a new publisher can be found. And Acclaim went out of business due to poor management and bad decisions.

U'll only ever do it once and then 3 - 6 months will seem like a really really long time.....I got done on a country road late at night and have regretted it ever since....not only because of the fine and loss of license, but also because I couldn't afford to go to 2 track days and really speed in a legal environment. I'll not be pressured by other motorists to speed and I'll be saving it for the track.

My mate's a holden fan and i've been in his Series II Calais (Supercharged V6) a number of times and marvel at the off the line grunt it has from the supercharger. He also loves the top end power and general feel of my R33. Currently my car is putting out a heap more power than the Calais but he still gets me off the line every time cause of the amount of low down torque. Our concensus is an R8 HSV and R34 GTR would be the top 2 cars to have in the garage.

Someone who doesn't want the fins damaged by foreign objects.... e.g. stones, low flying birds etc...

To answer the questions about the unichip. I have one of these on my manual GTST and they work great. I haven't had any issues with it and I'm making 190RWK at 14psi with the standard turbo. I don't understand why you were told that u couldn't run an EBC with the unichip because that isn't true. I'm running a turbosmart E-boost. The unichip can control the boost if you want it to, however it should only be an option so you should be able to retain the Blitz EBC that you already have installed. I'm not sure if you can get one for an auto though.....
