  1. wow i really need to read haha he stated that in the original post hurr durr.
  2. if only was in WA :'(
  3. how much for the full setup and how much were u making on the 2o?
  4. Dont run one?
  5. yeh i havnt got any solid quotes cause i know the second i hear the price ill run in the other direction, mostly because with the help of some friends i could do it at home, its just a matter of being bothered i suppose. you could wing taking the engine out of you're car and just intall the long motor and box, and get an auto sparky to do the wiring and a workshop to do the rest (surely cheaper than a full install) thats just my opinion though and i know nothing haha
  6. A few sets of rims that look the goods and are different.. Advan Yokohama TCIII 18x9+25 RAYS GTS - Diamond Black - 19x9.5+17 Work Emotion Kiwami 18x9.5+20
  7. this part is the most tempting in saying that it will be mostly for street use with occasional drift practice for learning so the clear result has to be a td05. the last part however - This is all provided you set it up right. - i was thinking the usual fuel pump, injectors, coils, manifold, ext gate, afm, fmic, stock intake plenum (if anyone can convince me its worth buying a front facing for the rb20 go ahead ) and then a nistune..again if a PFC is worth the money for the 20 do explain.
  8. haha tama easier said than done having 350 with the td06 is all well and good but i don't want to wait an extra 500-1000rpm for it. td05 for the street and a few track days will make me more than happy.
  9. it is an option, ive already had one of the members offer to do it for me for what seems like a very reasonable price. however! I'm making no decisions until tax return
  10. okay thanks for that, back to the td05 18g then, but is there a way around the drop in power higher in the rev range? also if i go td06 for more power how much do people usually loose low down as in spool time so on?
  11. just wondering..ive never seen the td05 come in 25g, i was going to go for a 18g but would i see any benefits with the 25g on the rb20? maybe holds boost longer? longer spool time? so on http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbo-Turbocharger-Hybrid-TD05H-25G-AR60-8cm-T3-Turbine-V-Band-4-inch-Cover-/110859057273?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19cfb6f879#ht_2063wt_855
  12. white stagea with black rims outside bar120...possibly the one in the photos above?
  13. I dont need it to stay stock, was just seeing what i can get away with. I don't mind going high mount if need be, ill just evaluate it when the time comes. cheers for all you're help.
  14. can u fit the td05 in the stock turbo position? and ive got one of those china split dump screamers (havnt used it yet) could i just run an internal gate td05 with this so i dont even need a wastegate?
  15. i was also thinking of going a twin scroll 6boost, anyone comment on the effectiveness of these?
  16. i was thinking this...but i would prefer a 3" inlet? http://www.ebay.com....#ht_2574wt_1270 but i should fully read stuff first, your post basically gave be the best of both worlds cheers mate
  17. yeah this is the turbo I'm pretty set on as it will give good power and still have decent response, I know the td06's are ment to be monsters but on the 20 the lag will just be to annoying for the street.
  18. Can anyone explain why on the kando ebay store it says that the td07/t67 is supposed to be for a 1.8L to 3L engine when the smaller (i think) td06 is ment for a minimum 2.5L? I'm planning on getting a td05 or td06 for my rb20 in the near future but if the td07 is ment for smaller application i might consider it.
  19. hrmm around 2k u reckon, if thats all sounds like a good deal to me. save me a lot of time F*@*ing around. if i can get them both cars and 2k and in return i get a drive away stock rb25 32 id be happy as a larry.
  20. Hey all just looking for some advice. So the basically I have the opportunity to get an r33 with minor front end damage for a good price of a mate. Since I have the tools and engine hoist and so on at home I could do it my self (and i little help from my friends ) but there is obvious things like wiring and drive shaft I'd need custom made and I want to know how much for the additional things. As well as exactly what the extra things are. OR Because I cbf I was wondering what I would be looking at to get it installed by a workshop? Any advice would be great Thanks
  21. pm'd for the power FC
