  5. FINALLY GOT IT BACK UNIGROUP DID AN AWESOME JOB BUILDING IT SOUNDS TUFF TUNE IS AWESOME... GOT 365 KW AT THE WHEELS ON 21 PSI Pretty happy with the results turbos had more in them but still got standard cooler piping kept blowing off on dyno dont want to push the stock engine much harder than that anyway

  10. dropped the clutch off wednesday and the installer is flat out and have a lap day this week he told me should be done by end of next week

Tomei do pride themselves for being engine management specialists i dont really think they are out there to rip off people off... considering all their parts are top of the range... and yeah i do agree with what you said about the stroke when you put it into that perspective.. guess we will find out in week when i get results fingers crossed... im sure ill be happy whatever the result only aiming for 350 awkw dont want to push the stock engine to hard and it is only a street car Thanx for all your input everyone
  14. also tomei's old range of turbos were ball bearing and they discontinued them and went back to journal bearing so i dont know the logic behind this but maybe their R&D department found some progress in using it i dunno ??
  15. the more you stroke the less revs you get but the more power so i dont see what that has to do with the spool of the turbos i could be wrong ???
  16. i know journal bearings are meant to spool up marginally slower than ball bearing but hey hopefully a good tune and the cams and cam gears will help out, tomei dyno graphs show that the turbos come on around 4000-4500 rpm with the supporting mods they list so im quite happy with that

  20. tomei just revised their range these turbos came out march this year meant to be on boost buy 4- 4500 rpm so with some good cams and cam gears and a good tune hopefully see good results will soon see next week.. never know if you dont give it a go i guess
  21. yeah i got them being fitted now just waiting on my nismo twin plate they should make 500awhp on 1.3bar thats what it listed on a japanese gtr with the m7655 fitted
  22. what power you looking for?? also worth looking into some cam gears at least so your tuner can get the turbos to be more responsive and get the timing right
  23. bought them off an american site paid 2950 included post full kit....\ um i also just bought and getting fitted 700 cc sard injectors tomei full pump apexi djetro ecu getting rid of air sensors coz there on there way out just a cheaper solution... hks cam gears tomei pon cams type B full custom 3.5 inch exhaust tomei bellbouth dumps nismo fuel reg standard internals fair standard upgrades needed for the turbos recommended by tomei on their site... theres a standard r34 gtr in japan with standard internals just these basic upgrades that are needed pushing 500hp with these turbos
