  1. I didn't fit a halogen in a hid socket, the sedan version of these aftermarket units came fully halogen equipped bulbs and all, just gotta adjust my high beams other than that completely plug and play
  2. ah indeed, yea i didn't bother putting a hid kit threw mine (may do at a later date) but the projector lens with the halogen's works just fine (actually brighter than my faded stocko's)
  3. Sounds like the coupe lights have been more of a hastle than my sedan's ones... Mine literally plugged straight in.
  4. Hey guys, Just been searching around looking at coilovers for the V35 Sedan, I came across these : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/D2-Nissan-Skyline-V35-250GT-300GT-350GT-Adjustable-Coilovers-Suspension-Street-/150672412487?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2314c68f47#ht_4427wt_1029 on ebay and was wondering if anyone has used them or met someone with this brand and how satisfied they were with them, because they are significantly more affordable than the Tein coilovers which will probably be my option if no one has seen or heard of these. Also I don't remember where I read this, but I vaguely recall reading somewhere that coilovers won't bolt straight in on the rear, is this true or am I just having false memories hahaha. Cheers in advanced.
  5. Spotted a whole shit ton of skylines at the downshift meet in rocklea yesterday.
  6. Id like to note thats just on parks and my flash make it look like my light is on. These were a direct plug and play for me, will put a hid kit on it eventually but for now the halogens are fine.
  7. Mine are in as of tonight! Will post a pic in a min.
  8. So what have you got in yours now?
  9. Didn't have much time to look at mine as I had to go to a concert, gonna check it again tonight, maybe install depending
  10. I am also having ball joint issues, but the housing for mine is cracked, it clunks on big bumps. I was thinking of just swapping out the upper control/camber arms as it looks like aftermarket ones come with a new joint, but I'm not sure if this is the case or if it will solve my problem. As for mackays shitty roads, I live in gladstone, your not alone in that situation Haha.
  11. That's pretty much what I said.
  12. Just gonna put this out there... The V's they crave your lovin' hense why i think a timeline shirt or the sau logo shirts would be the go
  13. So retain the factory harness ditch the factory ballast with the factory lights, (do the new ones have halogens in them already?) And replace with aftermarket hid's, that's cool I get em cheap as threw work.
  14. Nice mate, what dollars? Also looks uber similar to our s1 (no analog clock) dash aswell
  15. So stock ballast aftermarket globes mounted in new assembly? Or am I interpreting this completely wrong lol
  16. VVT maybe then? I think thats what the NEO stands for, dont quote me though Scratch that, Just looked it up, stands for Nissan Ecology Oriented, which from what i can tell is just a head that helps lower emissions.
  17. yes but they are saying it plugs straight onto the original harness am i right?
  18. I have seen a stoptech kit for standard size V35 brakes, rotors pads and lines i think it was. From the US obviously was like $US700 for it
  19. The NEO Di ones are Direct Injection, where the normal ones are not.
  20. My lowbeams are still the stock HID's, so thats a win for me.
  21. I quit smoking 2 years ago now, and i still will partake in a cigar on the odd special occasion i personally think they are enjoyable.
  22. So it does plug into the stock ballast? or needs to be removed?
  23. Also good to hear we are all systems go! I thought you may have been away or had no internet or something.
  24. Lol don't hate on me cause i have a sedan, i paid it last week.
