  1. Probably would have to change to a 3.5 ecu aswell correct? (different injection on the head?)
  2. He was talking about himself lol, and yea go the 300GT I personally cannot fault it as a p-plate car. And i dont think he is close to coming off his P's as he said it will be his first car??
  3. Started my new job this week, but fortnightly pay, so i will be running on fumes until the 22nd so I won't be able to make it, sorry guys.
  4. Would love to get some with the black housing for my S1 Sedan but I don't have the money atm and don't get paid for another 2 weeks
  5. Well i have a series 1 300GT and I think as a P Plate car it is a awesome machine, all the luxuries of a BMW or Merc at an affordable price in better condition than any BMW or Merc at that price and kilometers. Paid 14k drive away with 42000 on the clock. (note im also a P-Plater and my 300GT is full leather and all options except a sunroof)
  6. Hey guys, I have been reading around the NA forum and been seeing the talks about the famous combination that is the RB30/25 hybrid. Which got me to thinking, would it be possible to put a VQ35DE head on my VQ30DD, not saying I would (would probably change the engine instead) but just in theory... would it work? would the injection be a major factor? new ecu would obviously be required, and such but I'm also curious do the run the same block (not including stroke and bore properties obviously). Cheers for reading my insanity, have just been scratching my head wondering if it would be possible, if RB's can do it why cant VQ's haha. PS. no I don't plan on doing this it is purely out of curiosity.
  7. Yea, i know just looks prime and I imagine works a treat.
  8. Gah awesome i want your plenum aswell!! bastard VQ30DD!
  9. Yea, on a coupe it would look weird, i have 20's on my sedan tho and they almost look like 18's if you dont look properly, so on a sedan id say it would look decent
  10. I will try to make it but i hold no guarantees. But I would have my new wheels by then and would like to show her off with the new shoes.... lol
  11. What V do you have? coupe or sedan? also what wheels and tyre size was its factory??
  12. Mine goes to 280
  13. Anyone from up Central QLD way here? I drive a V35 300GT sedan on P plates
  14. I dont think there are any cams available for our lower model engines (i have a VQ30DD V35), my latest insanity has been will a vq35de head bolt on and change our injection (i know this is probably insanity but i really like my car) and if it does will need a ecu to support such an abomination which i imagine getting would be impossible once again making another of my ideas redundant. (note reason for this thought was due to the mixing of rb26 and rb30's)
  15. yep i may have to try again in the morning for you because i cant see shit now
  16. 65 - 70 mm, its getting dark so was hard to read
  17. To be honest I don't know if shes lowered because i haven't checked (do you know stock height?), and thank you so much this chart helps alot hopefully ill figure this out tonight so i can get them on the way (i need new tyres and i want my new rims first)
  18. Sadly i don't have Volk sort of money to through around.
  19. Awesome as thanks for the tips that opens up my options alot compared to what i have found and read, also that ^^ looks dam hot.
  20. No one know about this?
  21. Hey guys, I'm currently looking for some new wheels for my 2001 V35 Sedan, I have read that the offsets to fit it are as such - 8.5 + 30 front (around this) and 9.5 + 35-40 for the rear, I was wondering how far out of these i can go because these offsets limit my options hugely. Cheers for your help.
  22. I have been told they are worth a bit, and you live in NSW so postage will probably be a bit. How about $250 + post
