what a great bunch of rev heads and a top day. thanks to all who organised the day. gee what fun wearing leathers on a day like today. i was pretty pleased during my 35 runs, i managed to knock off about 7, 10.2 @140mph on the R1 the clutch seems difficult to master, i either got wheel spin, bogged down and on a few passes just perfect. im sure its got a 9 in it with a good rider. thanks again to all and i will be at the next one forsure......... great value
-
looks like the we couldnt have asked for better weather tomorrow. just want to know if we can leave during the day and get back in? asking as i will probably need to fill the bike up at some stage all five of my spectator passes will be available for others too
-
im only bringing the r1 now....... bringing the falcon will be a waste as i was expecting to be setting up the rear shocks and it ran fine on wednesday night as is.
-
yep i know all the rules etc........ i will only be running the falcon to half track, all i want is to set up the rear shocks and two step. if they dont let me run at all i will just use my tow car, no big deal. cant wait
-
im racing the falcon this wednesday, weather permitting, and also getting my r1 mapped on tuesday. so fingers crossed and nothing brakes, i will be bringing both 10sec machines......
-
the day could have had the same result if it were to rain, its just drag racing. yes i guess SD could have given more notice, but they are doing there best and i cant ask for anything more from someone. atleast now i can have time to get my bike remapped
-
andra rule book says, any vehicle where the battery has been relocated , require a battery isolation switch. but saying that, ive got two mates with 12sec cars and boot mounted batteries without an iso switch and they have never been told they cant race
-
i paid last week my 2nd entry fee but my names not on the list...........yet. how many more entries are needed to make this day go ahead?? also as a couple others asked, is the burnout pad available too during the day? im sure most will get alittle board racing for 7 or so hours
-
payed my 2nd entry fee, bringing the R1 too
-
come on skyline boys! support your event, im going to enter again and bring my r1, just waiting for a mate to confirm he can ride it to the track for me. can non club members claim a trophy?
-
thanks very much! yeah i guessed from entry list that it would be ok, but as im not a member i just wanted to get the ok first. transfer done and will fax or email entry tomorrow, thanks again and i cant wait!
